Only one waitress spoke English, and by the way, she also spoke French. There was an English menu available. Water was charged 2 euros, which is apparently customary in Italy... although the hotel restaurant I stayed in didn&#39;t charge for it... they should have reminded me when I ordered. But I came for the food: had the most delicious octopus salad! Great find.

Super!! The staff were really friendly and polite. The food was fantastic! We ordered meatball, truffle strozzapreti and cotoletta alla milanese, and the texture, the seasoning, the flavor, everything was perfect. It was a great experience.

The design of the cafe recreates the classic Milan-style cafe, and some liqueurs and other ingredients in the glass cabinet under the bar are old-fashioned packaging. You can choose to eat at the same table when you enter the store, and the final bill will be charged an additional fee of maggiorazione, which will be charged at 15% of the bill. You can also pay first, then choose to stand at the counter or sit in the other non-restaurant chair to eat. The two didn&#39;t eat breakfast anyway, so they simply became brunch: - krafen long wanted Berlin jam bag Berliner, made with natural fermented bread, filled with dessert sauce, with cappuccino is delicious. - tartina salata, I chose a one with tuna and ham coppa, the name is Sasa&#39;, and both of them like it very much. There is no knife and fork to bite directly, it is really full of oil. - Sandwich, I ordered a roast beef slice with caprino al basilico cheese sauce, it tastes good, The sesame dish rucula inside is not that bitter. The beard ordered a sandwich I couldn&#39;t eat, which was Gula Taylor Ham Culatello, and the friend said tasty. - Desserts chose 2 because this store inspired the hearts of two girls (yes, friends sometimes the heart of the girl is more than I am), ordered the pink Bar Luce cake of the same name, the outside is almond icing, it tastes quite general. But this tiramisu is much better, mainly because the finger cookies inside are soaked in coffee, but the amount is small and thin, so a mouthful of cream is thick. - Finally, I ordered ice cream, granny&#39;s creamy taste? Generally, strawberry taste is more like eating ice cream. Sasa&#39; 6 euros/piece, sandwiches about 8 euros/piece, desserts 5-6 euros/piece. Coffee is not expensive: Italian condensed 1.1 euros, cappuccino 1.5 euros.

Nice little gem, hidden at the fifth floor of a business hotel in the Porta Romana area. The food is good and fairly priced, even if portions are rather gourmet-sized (i.e. small). Dishes are based on the Italian tradition, but usually with a twist. Not everything is perfectly executed (if it was it might be Michelin star material), but price wise you can appreciate the attempt of bringing fine dining at a much lower price point (starter + main dish + dessert range between 50 and 55 euros pp, full price, without alcoolic drinks, but including a bottle of water). With added the Fork discounts the place is a steal. Service is attentive and professional.

Delicious food with a wonderful mix of traditional dishes with a modern taste. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere was vibrant and fun.

We found this place by the reviews on the fork.com site. Took the Metro a few stops from our hotel. The service and food was great and so was the prices.

One of the best trattorie in Milan, food is amazing, great pricing and atmosphere is unique.The cotoletta is actually the best I&#39;ve ever had!!!

The two of them didn&#39;t have breakfast anyway, so they just had brunch:
- Krafen looks like Berliner jam buns, made with natural fermented bread, filled with dessert sauce, and is delicious with cappuccino.
- Tartina salata, I chose a one with tuna and ham coppa, called Sasa&#39;, and I liked it very much. But I didn&#39;t bite it directly without a knife and fork, and it really made my hands full of oil.
- Sandwich, ordered a roast beef slice with caprino al basilico cheese sauce, which tasted good, and the arugula rucula in it was not that bitter. Huzi ordered a sandwich that I couldn&#39;t eat, which was filled with Culatello ham, and my friend said it was tasty.
- We chose two desserts because this shop inspired the girlish hearts of both of us (yes, my friend&#39;s girlish heart is sometimes much bigger than mine). We ordered the pink Bar Luce cake of the same name, which was covered with almond icing, but it tasted quite ordinary. However, this tiramisu was much more delicious, mainly because the finger biscuits inside were soaked in coffee, but the amount was small and thin, so every bite was full of thick cream.
- Finally, we ordered ice cream. Grandma&#39;s cream flavor? Ordinary, the strawberry flavor was more like eating ice cream.
Sasa&#39; is 6 euros per serving, sandwiches are about 8 euros per serving, and desserts are 5-6 euros per serving. Coffee is not expensive: espresso is 1.1 euros, cappuccino is 1.5 euros.
