This place is always a place my husband and I take our out of town guests. The food is always so good and the service is the best in Lyon, thanks to the head waiter.

The restaurant is located in a very quiet place. According to my requirements, it needs renovation. Otherwise, the food was at a very good level, only one of the main dishes was tasteless.The quality of the food was very good.

A quiet, comfortable, neighborhood vibe and well-prepared food at a reasonable price.  Owner was very friendly, spoke excellent English, and provided excellent service.  Good wine list, also reasonably priced.  Would definitely return.

We were here with a baby.They were very kind with all the requests for the baby.We took meat dishes and a salad. The salad was very good, but we were impressed by the meat, it was really tender, perfectly cooked!I also loved the dessert. So for me this place is ok. We used a discount for the dinner and it was really convenient.

The restaurant offered great quality and portions in their meals. The food was delicious and we were very happy in general. The place is small and cozy, reservations are recommended.

Food was fine but not outstanding.  Sampler menu portions were tiny to let you go out wishing for another dinner. Wine paring was good and interesting.

We decided to have dinner at this restaurant on a recommendation. We were impressed by the staff&rsquo;s eagerness to please and to make our evening memorable. The presentation of each course was delightful and artistic. The meal itself was delicious. We would highly recommend.

We were delighted to discover this restaurant and fascinated at the way it works. From our arrival to our departure we were extremely well looked after. The combination of an experienced and welcoming manager and young, enthusiastic and well mannered staff was delightful and impressive. The service was of the highest standard and it was good to see the teamwork. The food and wine were excellent and the ambience comfortable and sophisticated at the same time. Given that the employees are &ldquo;learning their trade&rdquo; they all deserve to do well. A memorable evening for all the best reasons and one we would definitely wish to repeat.

It&rsquo;s always a great experience Especially for those who love French dessert. The reservation and experience were excellent. The staff is composed of students who are happy waiting, always smiling, very professional. Always a great overall experience

Nous avons &eacute;t&eacute; ravis de la soir&eacute;e pass&eacute;e chez Vatel! Tout y &eacute;tait tr&egrave;s bon. Seul b&eacute;mol, lorsque vous arrivez &laquo;&nbsp;tard&nbsp;&raquo; les chariots de desserts sont un peu vides&hellip; mais sinon vraiment, le personnel est aux petits soins et est tr&egrave;s agr&eacute;able.

We were happy to have been at Vatel&#39;s night! All was very good. Only bemol, when you arrive &quot;late&quot; the dessert cars are a little empty... but otherwise really, the staff is at the small care and is very pleasant.

Probably Lyon&#39;s most famous store in the Chinese, especially for tourists, it is very famous, it is also relatively old-fashioned, I like this soup and poultry very much, it is great.

We really enjoyed our meal as the food was delicious and served steaming hot.  The couscous with chicken was put of this world.
