A little on the expensive side food wise but it is London! Lovely food, great service by all the staff and some lovely beers on tap.Wood walled, wood chairs, wood floor and wood tables give it that authentic old world ambience.Would definitely recommend and worth booking ahead!

All the guys there are super friendly! Especially Ahmet he made the overall experience really enjoyable. The food was amazing too especially the sag and the bhuna. Took my cousins here from USA and they loved it. Thanks again guys ❤️

Stumbled on this place because everywhere else was full and had a lovely lunch. Sat upstairs and although it was busy we weren&#39;t rushed. Had a very refreshing salad. Nice staff. Reasonable prices.

Attended a birthday party at this restaurant Saturday 14th March 7pm, parking nearby (free), as this was a party this was in the upstairs private room and YES they have a lift for disabled or young parents with babies. Staff were very attentive, food was presented very well and tasted fabulous. I had the Lamb starter, Steak and sticky toffee pudding which was not to my taste, had a beautiful glass of red wine and a cocktail. Enjoyed this restaurant so much I will be returning on Saturday for my grandson&#39;s party

Clean &amp; well decorated large family-run restaurant. Various brothers &amp; waitering staff working the rooms &amp; the outside. Mother effigy is downstairs. Ceiling is a rooftop garden. A poppadum bar snack starter with 5 dips was a mere &pound;1.50.  I had the tasty prawn biryani which came with rice &amp; a curry for &pound;16.50. Teas &amp; coffees available at a modest price. I had a larger cider for &pound;6. Surprisingly out of the blue I was rewarded with a 20% discount by the elder brother in charge. - something which I have notified TheFork as discounts for single lone diners are hard to come by sadly. Very enjoyable - During my visit - journalists were taking photos of samples of the food &amp; more. Camera flashes.

Great ambiance and friendly attentive service. Would definitely look to go back as it is a bit of a hidden gem. Very good value for money too, some very decent wine choices for modest cost.

Cosy and historical tavern/pub with friendly service. A good selection of wines and small bites, good to catch up with friends or colleagues.

We enjoyed our time nice table . Good service from really nice waitress. Very helpful and pleasant Food was good the filling of my sandwich was excellent but the frozen bread product disappointing would have been great to have nice fresh bread . But lovely cold meat platter and fish finger sandwich . Grest bottle wine all in all a good 8/10

Staff were very helpful and sorted a sandwich for us which wasn&rsquo;t on the menu which understandably was geared to Xmas. Having frequented the Grapeshots many times over the years they seem to making a good stab at reopening after the long Covid closure

City Spice was recommended and didn&rsquo;t disappoint, food was great, i had the meat thali, all the little dishes were delicious, not greasy and perfectly flavoured
