A focus on the pizza&hellip;quality dough, ingredients, prep!  Delicious!  Could have had more of a wine selection but still&hellip;the pizza was very good!

Restaurant is cute, the service was good! The food is not great, we got the steak and we wouldn&rsquo;t come back. I have never had a steak I didn&rsquo;t like before&hellip;

A casual restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. We ate outside, which provided a view of the two towers of Porta Soprana (hence the Trattoria&rsquo;s name), as well as a good people watching. The service was fine, as well as our meal. My wife is vegetarian and had no trouble finding choices that were very good. They serve mainly Ligurian style food, typical of Genova. With so many excellent restaurants in Genova it is hard to single out any one, but this a good choice for a good local style meal at a reasonable price.

We visited on a quiet Monday evening. The place is very atmospheric and the food was good. The service was very slow however and we didn&rsquo;t get our wine until we had nearly finished our meal. Weird as it wasn&rsquo;t busy. It felt a bit disinterested bordering on rude but maybe we were unlucky. Worth a punt I would say.

I am writing to share my recent experience at your restaurant. Firstly, I want to commend you on the excellent quality of the meat served. It was truly exceptional, and the flavors were outstanding. Additionally, the staff was incredibly polite and attentive, making our dining experience very pleasant in many aspects.However, I would like to mention a particular issue we encountered. Despite the wonderful ambiance inside, complete with dancing and a lively atmosphere, we were not allowed to stay indoors. Instead, we were seated outside on the street, which was quite disappointing. While we understand that certain policies or reservations might have been in place, we felt that being seated outside took away from the overall enjoyment of our evening. It would have been a much more enjoyable experience if we could have been part of the vibrant indoor atmosphere.

Great service for a wonderful dining experience. We ordered the 5 steps dinner but they always surprised us with something else. I would describe it here but it would spoil the surprise.

Food was good. Service however was limited which might have to do with staff being limited to only one person being visible for the guests

Supreme food, probably one of the best pizzas I&#39;ve had.. ever... All pizzas have the Strakkino cheese baked within, which gives a great taste.. Waiter was committed and really accommodating..Great white wine and really fair prices..

The 90+ page PDF menu was slightly overwhelming and although the pizzas were well cooked, the place lacked the traditional element that one has come to expect in Genoa.  The wine was by the glass and fairly average, and we weren&rsquo;t given the water we&rsquo;d asked for.  Fine but underwhelming.

Good mix of Italian and Ligurian dishes with high quality and nice selection of wine. Price was reasonable and restaurant personnel attentive.

First of all, the food was outstanding.  We went there for lunch and shared a pasta e fagioli soup to start, then had two traditional Genovese pasta dishes recommended by our waitress, tagliatelle with pesto (but not just ANY pesto) and a pork ravioli (I forget the name).  All three dishes made our eyes roll back in our heads with delight.  The waitresses were so helpful and attentive even though the dining room was mobbed with people at lunchtime.  It was quite noisy, but that&#39;s because it was filled with people enjoying their meals - unlike the many other mostly empty restaurants we passed on the way to Locanda.  If we ever get to Genoa again, we will definitely book dinner there.  Five stars for sure.
