Schmidt&#39;s restaurant in Hellerau is a must for every foody in Dresden! Ever since we moved here in 2003, we return to this place and enjoy great food at a VERY reasonable price. Yesterday we chose the 5-course surprise menu, which gives you a pretty good impression of the kitchen&#39;s variations. Coming with a price tag of only 48 Euros, this 5-course meal is a really great value. Go there and you won&#39;t be disappointed, promise! Also the service was very attentive, effective, and nice. The room was a little chilly for us, thus not a perfect 10, but 9.5+ overall rating and a high recommendation!

Today&#39;s visit to Schmidt&#39;s has surprised us very positively. All was far beyond our expectations. We can really recommend it. (atmosphere, friendliness, quality, taste and price/performance). Recounts from our visits to Pointo restaurants to the absolute highlights this year.

Neben der Speisekarte gibt es im Schmidts auch immer aktuelle Gerichte, die mit Kreide auf Tafeln geschrieben sind. Aber egal  - alles ist von sehr guter Qualit&auml;t und sehr lecker. Das gilt auch f&uuml;r die Getr&auml;nke.

Besides the food card, Schmidts always have current dishes written with crews on tables. But no matter - everything is of very good quality and very delicious. This also applies to drinks.

Ich bin Stammgast und empfinde, dass die Qualit&auml;t der Speisen nicht stagnieren , sondern sich immer noch mehr verbessern und verfeinern. Auch das Service h&auml;lt weiterhin das Niveau ganz oben.

I am a host and feel that the quality of food is not stagnating, but still improving and refining. The service also keeps the level up.

At the time, only 2 more tables were occupied in the restaurant, possibly because we had dinner at 23.12.23 there for the evening and it was raining very much. Unfortunately, the restaurant would have deserved more guests this evening! The service was very attentive and the dishes all have tasted excellently. We will be happy to visit this restaurant again at our next stay in Dresden. Great view of Dresden.

honestly is in line with expectations. the food was good and some of the waiters were very careful and helping out with out large messy family. so very good experience overall

We were looking for a steakhouse in Dresden and discovered the Meatery and we&rsquo;re not disappointed.  There were four in our party and decided to share a Tomahawk Steak that was amazing, everyone was able to have steak the way the liked I&rsquo;d from medium to medium rare, cooked &amp; seasoned just right, we really enjoyed the presentation of the platter and side dishes.  The staff helped pair it with an incredible bottle of Italian Red wine  and the evening only got better.  I look forward to the next time we visit Dresden and have the opportunity to visit again.
