We stopped for the night in Leon on our way back to Portugal. We didn&#39;t have any  particular expectations for our meal, just something decent. But what a surprise at Mama Tere&#39;s! The setting, the staff, the food, and the wine were all well beyond our expectations: perfect! And all at a very reasonable price.

Beautiful view of cathedral. Excellent service! Delicious wine, portions are huge and there was something on the menu for everyone- even our picky children.

We enjoyed this small restaurant. The staff is charming, very attentive and very pleasant. The food was very good and of good quality. We will repeat it without doubt!
