The Chophouse Braintree

Unavailable items from the menu at 7pm on a Saturday of a Mothers Day weekend is disappointing and surprising. Also Lamb was tough and a little under cooked, portions of mushy peas and sauces were the smallest i have ever seen for the fish and chips! Chciken with the salad was cold when served. It is the little touches that so often make the difference between an ok to a good excellent meal. Ours was the former.

I have visited Toby Carvery during the week, but Sundays is just that bit better.  Usually, it gets really full.   It is best to book your table then one can relax.
