Our reservation was ready when we arrived and we felt like friends of the family and Bernardo madeWonderful recommendations and took excellent care of us all night!! The Cod croquettes were yummy and the Duck w the Port Sauce exquisito!! Bernardo also recommended the layered dessert that is typical of this part of Portugal. Our evening proved perfect in every way!!

The waiter was very kind and speaks good English.The food as great. I took the cabbage soup as a starter, so good! For mains, I ordered the black angus. Well baked and good combination of vegetables and potatoes. Very nice restaurant, authentic feeling. Visiting from Belgium alone, was a very nice experience.

The food was delicious and good quantity. The prices were different, a bit more expensive, they should be updated here.

After a long flight and traveling fromLisbon to Porto, this restaurant put a smile on our faces!  The food and service was fabulous! Every plate was great! We would definitely one back again! Highly recommended.

The restaurant has a beautiful view of the hotel above, and in fact, the hotel guests have breakfast there. The restaurant is traditional in every aspect, the decoration is old but comfortable, relaxed and romantic, the waiter is very well trained to provide a discreet and thoughtful service, the food is mainly traditional Portuguese food, some interesting starter. I am vegetarian and therefore have a good choice. Their wine list caters to each budget from 15 to 250&euro; bottles, and we chose the cheapest one, with the help of the waiter, from the last one to a good meal. We can see a few tables with Esputda it like a huge barbecue, waiter close your table and slices and delete until you are ready for a little bit. And panoramic views make it special.

Absolutely loved this place! Delicious food, super friendly staff, exceptional ambiance. We were lucky to have the table upstairs by the window. Small family- run place with so much character. The owner came out and brought us food and chatted with us. Very reasonably priced too. We loved the whole experience.

I had a great experience. The food was excellent, as was the ambience. The waitstaff were very helpful with food selection.

We were a table of 10 who booked just before opening at7pm. The staff were lovely from the moment we walked through the door. Food was amazing and our servers was confident and knowledgeable about the menu including the wines. We all enjoyed our experience and would recommend to others.Thank you.

The people working there were so kind!! They will make you laugh and tell you about their favorite things on the menu. The food is amazing. We really enjoyed being there.

The service was very professional. The food though was the highlight! The tomahawk ribeye was absolutely delicious - even the next day for leftovers!

I saw a lot of people recommending this restaurant in the guide. Popular restaurants here usually have to queue up, so if you don&#39;t have a reservation, you must go early. There was also a queue at the door of this restaurant. The store is not big and it is quite crowded inside. It will be a little faster to accept shared tables.
I ordered a seafood platter and waited for a while. The various seafood ingredients were very fresh and the ingredients were quite sufficient. The soup tasted good. If you like seafood, just order one. There are also some vegetable salads and pumpkin soup as appetizers.
