This small family run restaurant was recommended to us and our meal was superb.  The crab volute was exceptional and our entire meal was delicious.  We had booked for Friday evening and the restaurant was fully booked.  All dishes are individually prepared and so one must accept some delay in meals coming to the table, the anticipation is well worth it.   An absolutely wonderful evening and highly recommended restaurant.

The menu was very reasonably priced, the food beautifully cooked and presented. The service was courteous and efficient and the ambience very conducive to a relaxing lunch. We are regular visitors to Angoul&ecirc;me and we will definitely return. Highly recommended.

An agreeable family restaurant with pleasant view of the Charente river and easy adjacent free parking. The waitress was charming and the menu gave plenty of choice for our group. The dishes were really good, and quantities generous. The only problem was the speed of service. All the (10?) tables were full and indeed the place was marked as &quot;complet&quot; on the door. With just one server, there were very long pauses between courses. We were on vacation so for us not really a serious problem but eventually we wanted to move on and visit the great town of Angoul&ecirc;me.  All guests seemed to have the same delays, but again during a leisurely Saturday it did not seem an issue - though I think that this may be a problem for a business lunch or customers with an afternoon appointment.

Accueil chaleureux. Entr&eacute;e d&eacute;couverte un petit peu d&eacute;cevant, pas tres &eacute;labor&eacute; mais par contre le croustillant de fromage est top. Plat  de ribs de cochon excellent. Rapport qualit&eacute; prix excellent. Petit resto en dehors du centre au calme.

Hot home. Entry discovered a little disappointing, not very elaborate but the cheese crust is top. Flat of chicken ribs excellent. Excellent quality ratio price. Petit resto outside the center in calm.
