Le Plazza

The lemon chicken pasta was incredible. It was a good portion size and had great citrus flavor and creaminess with the addition of the buffalo mozzarella. Service was great and my food arrived promptly. The decor was a little strange with large nutcrackers randomly positioned along with a wall of plastic plants but otherwise the vibe was good and the background music was fantastic. I had to leave prematurely however when smokers of the patio began smoking directly adjacent to the open doors to the restaurant. And I was even seated in the far corner!

Had the penne arrabbiata with some calabrese sausage and stracciatella and the salmon with chimichurri and requested the pome le plazza (potatoes roasted wedges)…everything was delicious and Francois provided great service! We finished with the warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream and chantilly cream and a cafe au lait. We’ll come back before we leave Tours!

The location and setting of this restaurant is very nice. The food was mediocre. We all chose different main Italian dish only (no pizzas). Rather far from the Italian recipes taste wise.

A characterful establishment, with friendly staff (pleasant exchange) and a very quick welcome, elaborate cuisine.

Perfect, exactly what I was looking for, a very good Italian, but not only that, the menu is varied, the cocktails are very good to top it all off, a welcoming and caring service and staff
