BensuSauerkraut Fish (Nanyang Store)

Before coming to Taicang, I had heard that Bensu's pickled fish was particularly authentic. I have been wanting to eat at Bensu these days, but I have too many friends and someone has been treating me. Today, our family of three came to eat at her house. Located on the first floor of Nanyang Plaza, the store is quite large, and the decoration style is also very clean and tidy, with a Yunnan style. The three of us finished watching a movie at nearly two o'clock. We were not very hungry. We ordered more than two kilograms of black fish, 50 yuan per kilogram, and also ordered brown sugar glutinous rice cakes, as well as fat beef rolls and bamboo shoots. The slightly spicy pickled fish tasted good. After eating the fish, I was full. The two dishes were put in and cooked. The fat beef rolls were good, but we cooked it for too long, the meat was too old to bite, and some of the bamboo shoots were still chewable, resulting in us not eating these two side dishes. It was a waste and should not be ordered. However, the pickled fish was still good, and the radish and wide noodles inside were also quite delicious. The waiter's attitude was also OK, and the price-performance ratio was good.

Today I had a dinner with my bestie at Bensu Pickled Fish Restaurant. The fish fillets made from black fish were smooth and tender, and the pickled cabbage and pickled radish were slightly spicy and especially appetizing. I ordered some vegetables to mix with them. It cost 229 yuan for three people, which was very cost-effective.

When I don't know what to eat, I come here to eat sauerkraut fish. It's probably because of the daily waiting time. The fish came up soon after I ordered. Wow, it's as delicious as always, hahaha. The fish is very tender. Even if I don't like fish, I really like Bensu's sauerkraut fish. The portion is also super large, and the taste is just right. The sauerkraut is very appetizing, the fish is Q-bouncy and chewy, and the vermicelli inside is also great, and the soup base is clear and not greasy!
