Gowings

Gowings Bar & Grill is a western restaurant near Darling Harbour in Sydney. It has a nice view and the environment is really nice. I ordered my favorite steak.

The first meal after arriving in Sydney was solved here~ Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the menu, so I forgot what the dish was [laughing and crying] I remember that the first picture is oysters~ I didn’t know what those people meant by "fresh" before, but I understood it after trying it this time. Fresh seafood, served in its original flavor, with just a little vinegar as a condiment. You can still feel a little fishy smell of the sea when you put it in your mouth, but it doesn’t affect your appetite. The oyster meat is very chewy and very elastic. During the slow chewing, the fishy smell gradually disappears, replaced by a hint of sweetness, which is different from the sweetness of any sugar, and is the sweetness of the food itself. From this, I understand what "fresh" means, really Pictures 2 and 4 are both fish. I am sure there is salmon, but I really don’t remember which one it is [sweating] I should eat more of the fish in Picture 2, which is light and delicious, and does not wipe out the original taste of the fish. Picture 3 is chicken, served in a whole large piece. I have never seen such a complete chicken served on the table in China. I feel that the size should be half of the body of a chicken. We also had a plate of mashed potatoes and a plate of salad. Maybe I was too excited to take a photo. The mashed potatoes are real, a timeless classic. No matter what, they taste good. The layout of the restaurant, without a doubt, gives five stars. It is definitely my style, well-arranged, simple and refreshing. Add a little jazz to liven up the atmosphere, watch the bartender perform cocktails, and the atmosphere is so good~Btw, the waiters in the restaurant are all super handsome, not because of their good looks, but because of their taste. It's a pity that I'm a newcomer and I don't dare to take photos casually...

This is a high-end steak and seafood restaurant in Sydney, located on Market Street in Sydney. The restaurant environment is very good, full of fashionable elements, and the waiters are very polite. The steaks made by the restaurant taste very good, tender and juicy, and it is very enjoyable to eat. Although the consumption here is relatively expensive, I feel it is worth it.

Finally got the chance to go here. Wow, it lived up to my expectations. Great lively atmosphere, outstanding wine list, very good menu. The beef tartare starter was delicious! This is a different kind of place with rustic decor and nice staff. The service was great and attention to detail. Quite pricey but worth every penny! You deserve it! The staff was very friendly and we will definitely be back. The martinis were great too!

I have been wanting to eat here for a while and finally got it. Absolutely perfect food, first class service, excellent wine list. The menu is huge and hard to decide but there really is something for everyone. I went with a group of colleagues. The place itself is very upscale, passing the Court Hotel and next door to the National Theatre on Market Street. Public transport is the main way to get around Sydney and the train to Town Hall is very convenient, get off at Martin Place and cross the road. I can't fault Gowings Bar & Grill in any way.
