Great food good service and lovely atmosphere. Parking can be a bit of a problem as popular with students and dog walkers. Best to book especially in good weather due to its proximity to the common.

THE FOOD WAS WELL COOKED AND DELICIOUS AND DELIVERED WITH JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF INTERVAL BETWEEN COURSES, WHICH WAS GOOD FOR A BUSY PUB RESTURANT. wILL RETURN.

There was a bit of a wait for our table and a slow queue at the bar. However the staff were helpful and friendly. I am a coeliac and they were well informed about their food and gluten. The food was good and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our lunch and would go back again.

We were a table of 8 on our Work's Xmas 'do'.and had pre-booked.We were seated on a lovely big table by the window and our waitress checked our food orders with us and advised it would be a 20 minute wait, which was fine.The food was delicious, plentiful and piping hot. Very good value and the waitress was lovely.We paid one lump sum in cash and the transaction very easy and stress free.Would definitely recommend 👌
