Fox house

Great food, and staff, big mention to Adrian and John both of whom were very helpful and attentive. All meals were beautifully presented and great quality. Well worth a visit.

This is the first time at fox house, we thoroughly enjoyed the food,The service was excellent, we will definitely be back.And we will be telling all our friends.

Very cold in an old section of the pub. Took 1hr 15 minutes to receive our main meals. Very polite staff and good quality food although our meals were served Luke warm but we didn’t want to complain as we had appointments to get to and just needed to eat and leave asap.

The food was lovely, but the service not so.We booked on for 4.30, after a walk in Longshaw.A long wait for our main course & an even longer wait for our desserts.So we cancelled the dessert order & asked for the bill.Our server came & apologised for our long wait.There did not seem enough staff on at the Fox House today, to cope with the number of people wanting to eat there.This is the first time that we received poor service, so we were disappointed.Thank you

My friend & I walk at Longshaw quite regularly & always finish with a meal at The Fox House. Good quality food in a pleasant atmosphere & friendly waiting on staff.Thank you
