Another great Sunday lunch at Toby Carvery. This week it was turkey and gammon followed by treacle sponge and custard. Food was great and as per the norm so were the staff. Good food, great staff at good prices. Looking forward to my next trip.

Unfortunately we were left waiting at the entrance desk even though we had pre-booked and my mum, who we were taking out there, is 87 and couldn’t stand for as long as we were left waiting. The manageress did not even apologise but said she was going as fast as she could! The food was great and the roast was served to you by a lovely helpful chef. Watch out for Toby using Christmas Eve as a public holiday and charging higher tariffs, when it isn’t a public holiday! But try it for the tasty roasts.
