Port Gaverne Hotel Restaurant

What a fantastic evening at Port Gaverne restaurant ! Lovely, friendly and extremely helpful staff and the food was sublime.

We had the best time! The food was delicious. The fish and chips are a must. I had a beetroot salad to start, a little small but I didn’t mind as my main was a good size and delicious. My partner had the steak tartare to start…. Omg! This was really fresh and delicious. We can’t wait to go back. Friendly staff, good wine and overall a lovely experience.

Fantastic food in a lovely setting - the freshest oysters, delicious crab and a wonderfully rich and satisfying fish soup, with excellent fresh-from-the-oven sourdough. We weren't hungry enough to do the full and inventive menu justice, but everything we had was first-rate, with a wide-ranging wine list including plenty by the glass, and great coffee that came with with lovely homemade fudge. Staff were friendly and attentive, and it was a treat to be in a quiet village by the sea, flowers everywhere, on a fine summer day.

We wanted a nice place to celebrate my husband's birthday. This restaurant delivered with excellent food and service. A nice little touch was the gift of fudge with happy birthday on it. A lovely evening.

This is probably the best meal and friendly service we have ever received in any restaurant. The service was perfect and the quality of the meals were exceptional. Do not miss dining in this restaurant .
