Cafe Skansen

After playing around for a whole morning, I was so tired that I had not planned to eat here, but I really couldn't walk anymore. I thought it was a fast food restaurant at first, but it actually specializes in coffee. Fortunately, there was still something to eat, and the taste was pretty good. It might be because I was too hungry. In the end, the check price was acceptable, and the overall feeling was good.

Best meal of the trip! We stopped by Skansen Cafe after a day of touring Oslo. The experience was pleasant and the food was excellent! I ordered the smorflyndre (flounder) and my wife ordered the trout (salmon). My meals were excellent, flavorful and generous portions. The mashed potatoes on the side were nice and creamy. For dessert, we split the brownie and strawberries. I'm glad we split it because it was too much for one person. Our server was friendly and spoke fluent English, as do most Norwegians. The meal was fairly expensive, but I think it was totally worth it. I have no hesitation in giving this restaurant 5 stars.
