Grand Thai

Grand Thai is a Thai restaurant we visited in Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka. The curry chicken, curry shrimp and tom yum soup in this restaurant are not as spicy as the Thai food I have eaten in Thailand. They are more delicious and the price is reasonable.

The restaurant only opens at 7pm. For Chinese people who have been eating Sri Lankan curry for many days, it is a good choice to change the taste. The Tom Yum Goong soup is very authentic. The later one was too salty, so I added water. The stir-fried vegetables were also a bit salty, and the pepper crab was so-so. Two Tom Yum Goong, one crab, one pineapple fried rice, and one stir-fried vegetables cost RMB 250, which is normal.

The best Indian restaurant I've ever eaten, the taste is great! The tableware is all handmade copper, which is very impressive. The restaurant is decorated in British style, with indoor and semi-outdoor options, and the restaurant is in the hotel.

We had the prawns which were very fresh and kept their flavour well, and the tofu dishes were also a good choice, I think this is the best Thai food in Sri Lanka
