Guanxijiuzhuang

Guan Village at the foot of Jiuyi Mountain is known as the first village in Jiangnan. The founder of the village was Li Daobian, a general who fought against bandits in the Southern Qi Dynasty during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. Unexpectedly, the Southern Qi Dynasty was destroyed before his work was completed, so he chose to settle here and multiply. Li He was a celebrity who emerged from this ancient village during the Tang Dynasty. He was the first champion in Huguang and the inventor of the leaf game, the prototype of mahjong, so he was called the "ancestor of mahjong". Ningyuan blood duck is a traditional dish in Yongzhou. I found a restaurant called Guanxi Winery on the bank of Lingshui River in the village. I tasted this famous dish and it was really spicy and delicious.
