Five of us ate here on 14 April. Service was excellent and the food choices for all were very good . Good choice of wine at good prices. Not a large menu but great cooking and enough choices. Highly recommend it.

Excellent food & wine not bad which is what you want. Service was ok but serving a group of 12 blokes is often not the easiest ! We’ve visited this restaurant every year on our golf trip and the food gets better each year … we will visit again next year

A lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. Staff friendly - good service. Food excellent. Will definitely try to book for our group again next year.

Really enjoyable food. A short menu with 5/6 choices per course and therefore cooked to perfection. Service was incredibly efficient, bearing in mind it was one person and circa 30 covers.

A great little restaurant serving quality and good value food. The service was friendly, unobtrusive and helpful. Good selection of wines. Only thing I would have liked would have been some sides of veg available. Decor is a little strange but simple. We were situated on a table at the back of the restaurant without anyone else there which affected the ambience but elsewhere the restaurant was buzzing and we weren’t too bothered being by ourselves. Would definitely return. This is a great unpretentious restaurant serving quality food.
