L'Alexandrin

What I want to say about this restaurant is that I personally like the dishes there. In addition to the steak, I think the desserts and other dishes are also very good. If you like them, you can give it a try.

Beyond memorable. At one point, younger and spending a significant amount of time in the country, I could hold a conversation. Now, I barely can mispronounce my own name. Were I able to speak, I'd probably still be at L'Alexandrin talking with chef/owner Rigal who, along with an equally competent colleague, worked the room all night. Each course exceeded that of the previous one and the wine pairing was generous. Very generous. Ok, very, very generous! An amazing evening, worth every Euro and one that we won't ever forget. Now, if only I could remember how too speak French.

Exceptional welcome and service. The food presentation was beautiful and with great taste. Style and substance. A truly wonderful evening.

Really an excellent lunch. Food was refined and generous (a rare combination). Laurent Rigal waited our table himself. Great explanations of the food and wine and their provenance (do try a dish with mushrooms, they were fantastic). A must do.

The restaurant was small and cozy. They held a large table for our group and served us the most amazing food. Everything was good including the meat and vegetarian dishes. Le chef était tres gentil et la norriture était marveilleuse!
