Toby Carvery

Typical hearty carvery meal, but - for some reason - slightly cheaper food (and beer) than other Toby restaurants in the area on Sundays (normally the most expensive and busiest day of the week).

Saturday mid-afternoon turned out to be a nice quiet time to visit - no queues, and all the carvery meats available. Usual quality meal - always good value. Staff still seemed to be busy but were friendly and efficient - special mention for Nikki. Plan to return soon when I need a quick but hearty meal.

Great night, can’t fault the place.. friendly atmosphere, great service . Will be back! Carvery and drinks good, free parking bonus (train station near too)

Food was excellent only thing I didn’t like was when I showed the staff member my code she took my phone away and as I had opened my phone to show her the code this concerned me that access to other photos and apps could potentially be done. There is nothing to suggest this was the case but it did make me slightly anxious at the time

Good company, good service, friendly staff, and most of all, lovely food. A lovely night out 😀😀
