Perfect romantic lunch before Christmas. We got married at this hotel in 2021. They have the top service and we&rsquo;ll be returning for lunch or dinner every year!

Nice atmosphere in historical setting.  Adequate choice from the menu. Food quality was excellent - fresh, well spiced, tasty, very balanced.  Service was very attentive and prompt. Waiting times between courses were short.

We had a lovely meal here after getting married. The staff were friendly and attentive and made up a table for us inside, although they had set up all their tables outside. The food was delicious and we will definitely come again for our next special occasion.

Beautiful place with delicious food on a terrace overlooking the golf course. Served by fantastic staff who go the extra mile to make sure you are fully satisfied with your meal, highly recommend!

(Schlosshotel Kronberg) Queen Victoria bought more than 100 acres of land in Kronberg in September 1888 and built a Victorian-style palace as her widowed residence. In honor of her husband, she called it the Frederick Palace (SchlossFriedrichshof). After Queen Victoria died in 1901, the palace was passed to her young daughter, who was used as a unit house by the US military during World War II and as the home of General Eisenhower, the commander-in-chief of the US military. General Eisenhower and his entourage lived here for seven years, during which he designed the gardens around the palace to be converted into an 18-hole standard golf course, one of the most beautiful in Germany. A tourist, looking at the magnificent palace and the quiet green space, said, &ldquo;look at this golf course, regret that you will not play golf for life!&rdquo; General Eisenhower later became the 34th president of the United States. Since 1954, the palace has been transformed into a five-star hotel, one of the &quot;small luxury hotels of the world&quot;. The rooms are furnished and still contain original furniture and artwork from the Royal Collection, and there is a well-preserved Royal Library inside.
