My daughter took her driving test today and passed! Thinking about her soon-to-be license, she couldn't help but beam. After her nap, the sky remained gloomy. I went out to the balcony and looked out at the horizon. Dark clouds dotted the horizon, shifting from deep to shallow, then shallow to deep, like a multicolored sea. It turns out gray can be so vibrant. My daughter, who's trying to lose weight, hadn't eaten out in a while. Tonight, she wanted some fried skewers. So, we headed to Xinsheng Street and sat down at our favorite skewers shop. We ordered a ton of meat skewers, pork belly, lamb, and beef, and even ended up taking a lot to go. She said, "Looks like losing weight has reduced my appetite." I agreed: "That's great!"

It's been a long time since I came here to eat rice noodles. The weather was hot and I didn't want to go out. I came to Xinsheng Street in the evening and wandered around. I came to this rice noodle shop. The long-lost taste made me very satisfied. After eating, I continued to walk around. Suddenly, I saw swallows flying. I looked up and saw the swallow's nest under the eaves. There were several small swallows with yellow mouths staying in the nest, and a big swallow was parked nearby. Ha, it's so cute. A family of swallows living in the downtown area, aren't they afraid of noise?

There are times when I am so tired that I don’t want to do anything. I went shopping with my daughter in the back at night, and I really couldn’t walk…
