La Tranquera

It’s a very small quaint space full of ambience the night we went a chef and a waiter that was it, the rain was pouring but a warm welcome and great food simple and tasty and freshly cooked amazing steak we had two Tenderloins , the waiter asked “to share “ no each please ! Omg so much meat so delicious cooked to perfection and breakfast for two of us for two days ! It was 400 grams we missed that , but had tortilla wraps for brekkie,

My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic experience at La Tranquera. The staff welcomed us in and accommodated us with grace. We know little Spanish so, the waitress gave us her phone for QR code because our phones were dead (after traveling all day) then, offered to charge our phones. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was fun. The staff was full of grace. Now one of our favorite experiences in Cordoba.

I eventually mixed up the restaurant and their empanadas shop, so I came up somewhat late with little time to enjoy the dinner. However, I was lucky to find that empanadas cook really fast and are sooo delicious! This is definitely a must visit in Judería de Cordoba!

Great service and the most tasteful beef we had! Truth is everything we tried was cooked to perfection but the beef.. unbelievable!

I ate here on my previous visit to Cordoba and wanted to go back and it didn't disappoint. The only "problem" is the portions are huge. We shared empanada starters which were delicious (particularly the oxtail), we could have stopped there but the steaks looked so delicious we couldn't resist. It did defeat us but it was boxed up for us to take away.The wine choice is limited but excellent. Then the bill comes and it is so reasonably priced.Add in the quirky decor, the great staff and you've got a total winner.
