Today, I needed a place near Chiusi while on a drive and discovered this little gem.The steak was cooked to perfection, and though my appetizer of pappa al pomodoro (tomato bread soup) was tasty, it ended up being a bit too much for me and was part warmpart cold which threw me. I was also pleasantly surprised by the cavolo (Italian cabbage) with turmeric&mdash;a delightful and unexpected addition to their menu.&rdquo;

After 1 year I kept my word and, as promised last year, I returned here to eat. Upon arrival you always feel a wonderful atmosphere: already after parking the view extends over a panorama that caresses the soul and disposes well.

Very well-kept structure, as well as the paths leading to the restaurant, which cross the ancient monastery and its gardens. Using it also for the part of the wellness center will be the next goal.

The interior decor is very well-kept and clean, the rooms are large, the view of the outside is suggestive. The staff is courteous and prepared, the menu offers a wide choice and the dishes are well served, excellent flavors and generous portions.

I recommend the cutting board of towers, the inevitable pici all&#39;aglione (strictly homemade), if time permits the maltagliati and chickpea soup, a sliced ​​Chianina beef (I opted for the one with gorgonzola and walnuts) accompanied by baked potatoes, cheese omelette and truffle.

We went there twice last week and there wasn&rsquo;t dishes from the menu available to serve.
