Uranos & Sarikaya

We had lunch on our first day in Turkey at the cave restaurant Uranos & Sarikaya. It was very unique and there was a guy playing the piano in the center of the circular restaurant, probably a Turkish style. I didn’t see any small tables, so it was obvious that they only catered to tour groups and not many individual customers.

A good place for brunch, right at the intersection, the interior environment is great, classic style. The food is good, the price is a bit expensive, 100 per person. The salmon caviar crepe tastes good. Have a cup of coffee, not many people on Saturday morning. There is wifi in the store.

In addition to the cave hotel in Turkey, the cave restaurant is also very unique. I went down directly. I didn’t expect the place below to be so big. It is warm in winter and cool in summer. The food is their special earthenware food.

I took a group tour, flew from Pudong to Istanbul, and then transferred to Cappadocia. Because the previous flight was delayed, I had to change my transfer. So, this restaurant was my first stop to learn about Turkey. A special cave restaurant, the main dish is whole lamb. If you don't eat lamb, you can replace it with chicken or beef. The service is very good. In terms of taste, the lamb actually tastes good, but the chicken is just average and very dry. The hotel environment is great, and many people are taking pictures, which reflects the characteristics of the magical Cappadocia.

After visiting Turkey's "Tunnel Warfare", we had lunch at a nearby cave restaurant, which was a Cappadocia beef stew. The restaurant was very unique and large, a bit like a cave in northern Shaanxi, with dim lighting. The bread before the meal was delicious.

The waiters in the restaurant will perform roasted whole lamb in front of you, but they will not distribute the lamb to everyone directly after the performance, but push it away directly. As for whether the lamb on the back is the same as the one just roasted, there is no way to know. The atmosphere of the cave restaurant is good. As for the taste of the dishes, everyone must know the taste of group meals.
