I just finished an unforgettable journey of exploration, and the magnificent scenery of Hercules Cave struck me deeply. Every step made me feel like I was talking to nature, and every rock seemed to whisper ancient stories. The mysterious atmosphere and the wonderful shape of nature in the cave constitute a breathtaking scene. Hercules Cave is not only a visual feast, but also a spiritual baptism. It is highly recommended for friends who like adventure and the beauty of nature. It is definitely a journey worth experiencing!
Hercules Caves is a breathtaking natural wonder with stunning rock formations and mesmerizing ocean views. The cave’s history and connection to mythology make it even more fascinating. The natural openings in the rock create beautiful lighting effects, especially during sunset. It’s an excellent spot for photography, exploration, or simply soaking in the scenic beauty. The surrounding area adds to the charm, making it a must-visit for nature lovers and history enthusiasts alike.
How should I put it? You can come or not. The main thing is that the ticket is 80 dirhams and it's just so-so to see a cave. But there is a saying that since you are here, it's good.
Impression of Morocco - Tangier, the throat of the Mediterranean Tangier, located in the northwest corner of the Kingdom of Morocco, should be regarded as the Horn of North Africa, uh, the throat of the Mediterranean to the Atlantic Ocean, and is an important seaport. It has two major Internet celebrity check-in spots: The famous Kasbah Lighthouse and the African Cave. Cape Spartel is the cape of Morocco and the northwestern corner of the African continent, so it is called the Horn of Africa. The Kasbah Lighthouse is bounded by the Strait of Gibraltar and the Mediterranean Sea to the east and the Atlantic Ocean to the west. The Internet says "Atlantic Ocean on the left hand, Mediterranean Sea on the right hand", which refers to this lighthouse. It is said that every night, the lights on the top of the tower illuminate the ocean, and the ships passing by use it to adjust their course. There is a strange cave on the Atlantic coast not far from Tangier, which the locals call "Hercules Cave" or "African Cave". The cave is not big, but what is amazing is that the entrance of this cave resembles a map of Africa, and even the African island of Madagascar has it. After seeing it on site, I think most of it was formed naturally by waves hitting rocks for thousands of years, and a small part of it should be suspected of artificial modification. These two check-in spots are about 15 kilometers away from the city of Tangier. Looking at travel notes online, most of them are chartered. We are traveling independently, so we can't insult the image of backpackers, so we go by bus! Speaking of bus, there is very little information available online. Google navigation prompts that you can take bus 2A or 19. However, when we navigated to the bus stop, the staff spoke to us seriously and responsibly in French or Spanish? "Chicken and duck talk" and didn't let us get on the 2A bus. They wrote down 26 with a pen. Okay, listen to the staff. According to our personal experience, you can go to the African Cave by bus: bus No. 26, 3.5 dirhams one way. The lighthouse is about four kilometers away from the African Cave. There is no bus, so you can only walk. In fact, the scenery along the way is good, and there is a coastal trail. If you have time, it is recommended to walk along the trail, which will definitely be a special experience.
The African Cave is worth visiting. If you don't want to buy a ticket, you can also look at the Mediterranean Sea from outside. Many locals go fishing there.
