based on 2047 reviewsgood experience , can see a lot of different animals in door. As heavy rain on the day we went there.
Wild Life Sydney Zoo is an indoor zoo located in the Darling Harbour, adjacent to the Sea Life Sydney Aquarium. There are nine pavilions at Wild Life Sydney Zoo, where you can see not only Australia's well-known koalas and kangaroos, but also cute but cruel Tasmanian devils, huge saltwater crocodiles, and lizards with unique characters. Of course, in addition to viewing from a distance, you can also have some "close contact" with animals.

△ Encounter cute koalas in Australia

△ See the cute short-tailed kangaroo

△ Meet the huge saltwater crocodile

The reviews were too harsh tho.. I have very high expectations but it did not disappoint me except for not seeing Quokka and the ppl there r not even sure if there’s quokka.I’m lucky to see few awake koalas, eating and walking around and scratching themselves, wayyyy to cute. Kangaroos are lazy, nothing much other than that, spent an hour, skipped most part just mostly starred at the koala hopping they would do something, cute.
Great venue for where it is. Got to see croc feeding time too!
This is an indoor zoo. It is located on the Darling Harbour, with the Australian National Naval Museum on the other side. It is backed by the Western Expressway and the Sydney city center, with convenient transportation. The park covers a small area, but has vertical stratification to increase its space utilization. The park is divided into rainforest, kangaroo, koala, reptile, crocodile, night viewing areas, etc. The content density is high, and you can have close contact with animals such as koalas and kangaroos. However, due to the limitations of indoor conditions, it is impossible to achieve a wild beauty that returns to nature, and the richness and diversity of the content are not high. In short, this is a good zoo, but it is not recommended to come here specifically.
I like animals very much. Although I am an adult, I still like to go to the zoo. And I didn't go to such a sightseeing car zoo when I was a child. It happened to make up for the regret of my childhood in Chiang Mai, hahahaha. My friend and I took her son to play together. Along the way, the child was also very happy. My friend and I looked at the animals, chatted, and accompanied the children~ It's a good place to take the kids out! The most important thing to enter the park: you must exchange cash coupons! The only common currency in the entire park, nothing is accepted, or you can use UnionPay cards. We didn't change it. We wanted to buy water, but we didn't have money to buy things, so we changed it when we walked out! There is also food for feeding animals, which also needs to be bought, 40🐷 a small basket, a very small basket, you can buy a few more baskets to feed giraffes🦒 The animals that can be fed are zebras, sika deer, kangaroos, giraffes, and black bears in the carnivorous area behind. It is said that it eats bananas. When feeding, it is with all the tourists in the sightseeing car. In addition to feeding and visiting, there are also some wild animal performances. They are not acrobatic troupes, very cute, and the trainers are cute. The wild animal performances are just them walking around and performing eating meat. There are also tiger shows and lion shows. Hahahaha, they will also be in a bad mood. If they don’t want to eat, they won’t eat. They will also be fierce to the trainer. It’s so cute! It’s like raising a big cat. There is also a fountain⛲️ performance every night, and the lighting design is very good. There are also song and dance performances in the square, which are very enthusiastic and super passionate. It is recommended to arrive around 3 pm, so that you can have a better experience. Otherwise, the walking area is still very large and you need to rest halfway. We played until 8 o'clock before going home. It was quite tight. I didn’t see the fountain light show~
I was on a business trip to Sydney. I only had two hours between the end of the meeting and going to the airport, so I chose this small wildlife park in the city center to see koalas and kangaroos. The zoo is small, but I was very happy to see animals that are not available in China. It seems to be cheaper to buy tickets on Ctrip. You can directly scan the code to enter the park, which is very convenient. Koalas sleep 20-22 hours a day. In the koala area, you can only see its buttocks. For another 35 Australian dollars, you can go in, see the front face of the koala, and take a photo with it. The unexpected surprise is that you can touch kangaroos in the kangaroo area. The feel of kangaroos is almost the same as touching Shiba Inu. I also saw a tree kangaroo that had just woken up. It was so cute and dog-like, haha.
Nestled in the heart of the city, it offers a captivating wildlife experience. From the iconic kangaroos and cuddly koalas to the awe-inspiring crocodiles, the zoo showcases Australia’s unique fauna. The interactive exhibits, such as the Butterfly Tropics, engage visitors of all ages. While the urban setting can attract crowds, especially during peak times, the diverse range of animals and educational presentations make it a must-visit for those seeking a close encounter with Australian wildlife
I always enjoy seeing animals in zoos, lots of space to roam around. But it was a really cool experience here. All the animals here are related to Australia. I have been to many zoos in Australia, but this was the first time I saw a platypus, bandicoot and quokka. Recommended
