based on 1247 reviewsThe Umeda Sky Building is definitely a must-visit spot. It offers a unique experience that sets it apart from other towers in Osaka. The ride up to the observatory deck on the escalator is something you won't forget. Make sure to check out the open-air deck too, where you'll get a completely different view of the city compared to the glass-enclosed observatory deck. We went early, right when it opened, and there were no crowds. But by the time we left an hour later, about 50 people were waiting in line. So, it's a good idea to pre-book your tickets. Another highlight was the Koji Kinutani Tenku Art Museum in the East Building. The exhibition offered a special glimpse into Japanese art. The 3-D show was a fantastic introduction, weaving all the art pieces into a story before we saw the individual paintings. A delightful surprise was the café. It was empty when we arrived, and we enjoyed a window seat with a view of the Osaka skyline while sipping fresh drinks and savoring tokoyaki.
• Unfind with the sky

• Take in the Osaka cityscape with a bird’s-eye view from the 360-degree open air rooftop

The Umeda Sky Building is located in the Umeda district of north Osaka. A rather uniquely designed building, it consists of two towers that are connected at with a rooftop observatory deck, from which visitors can view the dazzling streets below. The building has become a landmark in Osaka, with visitors coming to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

Esperienza molto piacevole, dalla tosse si ha una vista pazzesca di Osaka
I booked the viewing tickets on Ctrip in August. To get to the top-floor terrace, you need to change elevators twice. There were a lot of people watching the view, and waiting for the sunset was quite exciting, even though I've seen countless sunsets all over the world 🌅.
Knowing that this is also through popular Japanese drama "Naoto Banshu" standing at the commanding heights, a bird's eye view of Osaka, enjoy the sunset night scenery, 360 degrees of all-round broad vision, the visual shock can not be expressed in words. It's lucky to say that the heavy rain during the day did not expect the rain to stop in the evening. It's worth seeing the beautiful and indescribable sunset.
The Sky Garden is not a garden, but an observatory on the top of a very tall skyscraper. You can take a free standing glass escalator up, and there are at least two elevators to the top, where you can see the whole view of Osaka. We timed it so that we could go up at sunset, so we could take lots of nice photos - other people thought the same thing, so it was a bit crowded. I'm a bit afraid of heights, so taking the free standing escalator was a bit difficult for me - if you're afraid of heights, don't look down, but if you make it to the top, it's still worth the trip.
Takimi-dori under the Sky Castle|Umeda Sky Building is Japan's first interconnected super high-rise building. Its magic lies in the fact that the structure connecting the two buildings is not an ordinary corridor bridge, but a beautiful "Sky Castle" - the Sky Garden. The installation method of this garden is also very unique. The garden weighing 1,040 tons was pulled up to 150 meters in the air at a speed of 35 centimeters per minute, and finally connected to the high-rise buildings on both sides. The lifting process alone took a full seven hours. Many friends recommend coming to this place at night, because at night, this is a gentle and romantic place with a bright starry sky. Because the weather forecast on the day we went said that the wind lady and the rain lady would come here in the evening, so we had to choose to visit during the day. I had a little regret in my heart, but when I stood on the 360-degree circular Sky Garden Observatory, admiring the unique city scenery of Osaka, and wandering freely between the blue sky and white clouds, I found that this place is wonderful enough at any time. Coming out of the observation deck, we took the escalator connecting the east and west buildings back to the main building. The escalator's spatial design is like a time tunnel. Traveling here, you can be a fairy in one second and become an adult in the next. The basement of the Sky Building is the very distinctive Takimi-koji. It was built in imitation of the streetscape of the Taisho and Showa eras in Japan. As soon as you step into it, you will have an illusion of traveling through time, which forms a conflict between the old and the new with the modern style of the Sky Building. However, this is not just a place to visit, its real identity is actually a food court, where many famous Osaka common people's delicacies can be eaten~
It is considered the "Osaka Center" of Osaka. You can see the whole view of Osaka from the top. The elevator goes up and down very fast, and you can feel the obvious ear pressure. The open-air view is great and very photogenic. There is a food street called Yanjian Xiaoji downstairs, which is antique and tasteful.
Great views of Osaka from the viewing deck. the elevator ride was great. You could see out of all 4 walls and very interesting buildings.
