Are the cherry blossoms at Osaka Castle real!
#OsakaCherryBlossoms
Before coming, I couldn't believe this was real spring🌸
Decided to go on a whim, and on the second day after landing in Osaka, I saw the cherry blossoms in full bloom.
The legendary cherry blossom rain, unbelievably beautiful! Like a response from some kind of deity.
Being in it, an indescribable romance.
Kissed by such bright spring light.
A few days ago, I wanted to escape reality, feeling restless and anxious.
At this moment, all the beauty belongs to me! So touched, happy and satisfied to the point of tears.
Wishes coming true is amazing; it’s no longer just a place name or a picture, but a lively beauty right before my eyes.
It’s like spring secretly slipped me some candy, very happy, sweet and joyful.
💡My route:
1. Osaka Castle Park Main Gate
Enter and walk about 50 meters to the left, there are a few short cherry trees, the scenery is pleasant, a great spot for portraits and check-ins.
2. Cherry Blossom Park by the Moat
The park’s cherry blossoms are a light pink, with a few weeping cherry trees in a deeper pink, eyes filled with cherry blossoms, so beautiful that everyone’s smile never fades.
3. Tenshukaku (Castle Tower)
The cherry blossoms and it match 100%, and you can also take photos at the same spot as Hattori Heiji.
4. Morinomiya Subway Station
Along the way, there will be cherry blossom snow on the lake surface, a feeling of a cherry blossom forest. Walking slowly under the cherry trees, let your worries be carried away by the wind, very pleasant~
You can sit or spin under any tree, the air is pink, free, and unforgettable.
🌸Location: Osaka Castle Park
It's pretty good. You can just scan the QR code on your ticket and go in. This attraction is alright. You can go up to the top floor to see the view of Osaka. However, I would recommend coming in the spring when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. It will be even more beautiful then.
There weren't many highlights. It was a reconstruction of an old building, which explains why there were so many modern architectural details. There was a lot of explanatory material, but not many original artifacts; it seems that apart from the foundation, there's not much from the Toyotomi Hideyoshi era. The extra stone museum ticket wasn't really worth it. You just go in, look at the pile of stones from the foundation, and then leave. The Japanese are really something—they managed to put together an exhibition of such a small amount of material.
There is a large park surrounding the castle, perfect for a pleasant walk. The castle is a popular tourist destination, so it’s best to plan your visit in advance, as there are often long queues. Unfortunately, the interior has not preserved its historical appearance and now resembles an office building from the late 1990s. Inside, there are small exhibitions, but photography is not allowed. From the castle roof, you can enjoy a picturesque view of the city and the park below.
It is a large green park and historical site located in the central district of Osaka, Japan. The park was built in 1586 by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. It was originally a castle built with majestic stone walls. • After many wars, the existing park was rebuilt by private funds in 1931. There is a castle tower: the main building of the park, with 5 floors on the outside and 8 floors on the inside, 54.8 meters high. The 7th floor and below are the archives, and the 8th floor is the observation deck. Wooden statues, weapons and paintings of Toyotomi Hideyoshi are preserved inside. Climbing the castle tower, you can overlook the beautiful scenery around Osaka. • Nishinomaru Garden: There are wide grasslands in the park, as well as ancient monuments such as the outer moat and Taihei Gate that were burned and rebuilt. It is a good place for walking and leisure, and it is also a popular place for cherry blossom viewing in spring. • Time capsule: buried at the 1970 Osaka World Expo in Japan, it is scheduled to be opened 5,000 years later. Among them, "Time Capsule No. 2" will be opened for the first time in 2000, and will be opened every 100 years thereafter. • Sakura Gate: When Osaka Castle suffered a fire, only this Sakura Gate, which was built entirely of huge stones, remained intact and became the only remaining relic. • Moat: There is a moat built around the city wall, and the riverside is full of exotic flowers and greenery, full of poetic and picturesque scenery. You can enjoy flowers: The park has lush vegetation and various trees. Cherry blossoms are in full bloom in spring and plum blossoms are in full bloom in winter. It is a great place to enjoy cherry blossoms and plum blossoms. • Music performances: Every weekend and holiday, many unknown bands will come to the outer moat to perform for free, and there will also be folk art performances, including dance, music, and juggling.
During this trip to Osaka, Osaka Castle Park left me with a great impression! When you step into the park, it feels like you are instantly away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and you can see green everywhere. The park is very large, and it is very pleasant to walk in it. The iconic building, the castle tower, stands tall, and the water green of the exterior wall is decorated with gold, which is solemn and soft, and shines brightly under the sun. Climbing up the castle tower, you can see the city scenery of Osaka, and the sense of openness is refreshing. There are many cultural relics on display inside the castle tower, which introduces the history of Osaka Castle in detail, giving me a deeper understanding of the past of this city. There are also plum forests and Nishinomaru Gardens around. Imagine that when plum blossoms and cherry blossoms bloom in spring, this place must be beautiful. The supporting facilities of the park are also very complete. You can find a rest area at any time when you are tired. There are also small trains, cruise ships and other projects, which add a lot of fun to play. The transportation is also extremely convenient, and you can easily get there whether you take the subway or the JR line. Osaka Castle Park has both historical charm and the breath of life, it is really worth a visit!
It is worth a special visit. If there are not many people, it is recommended to go upstairs to look at the scenery of Osaka. The building is very unique, and it is also quite photogenic. The self-service vending machine on the left side of the front square is the Conan check-in point, and many tourists take pictures there. And from that angle, you can also take pictures of planes flying behind the building, which is very good. It is also close to the Osaka Police Department, so you can check in on the way. Then take the subway to Umeda, which is very close. Basically, two hours of play time is enough.
