Osaka
Osaakaaa~
A charming city that makes your heart race from the moment you step off the plane 💗
If anyone asks what Japan means to me?
Osaka is the answer! Because this place is full of people’s energy,
delicious food, and cute spots that make you smile just by walking by 🍡
🛬 Starting the trip with excitement because it’s my first time in Japan! Kansai Airport welcomed us with cool, refreshing air that made me take a deep breath thinking, “Is this really Japan?!” From the airport, we took the train straight into the heart of Osaka, enjoying the city views along the way—so delightful!
🎒 After checking in and dropping off our bags, it was time for adventure!
Our first destination was Osaka Castle 🏯
It’s so beautiful you have to grab your camera and snap away! The white and green castle trimmed with gold stands tall amidst a beautiful garden full of big trees and seasonal flowers. Every corner is picture-perfect~
📷 Next, we headed to Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori. I have to say, if you love food or photography, don’t miss these spots! Especially the famous Glico sign where everyone poses with arms outstretched just like the original 😆 And don’t miss the hot takoyaki
right in front of the stall—the aroma drifts from afar. The first bite made me go “Wow!” Crispy outside, soft inside, with perfectly balanced sweet and savory sauce.
🍜 After walking until tired, it was time to recharge at a cute ramen shop with a vending machine! Just press the button to choose your menu, drop the money, and wait for hot ramen to be served through a small window. It’s so fun, haha! After eating, we had the energy to keep exploring~
🐙 The next day, we woke up early and headed straight to Universal Studios Japan!!! 🎢💫 It’s like a world of imagination where you forget reality as soon as you enter~ Just passing through the park gates, you hear music, laughter, and cute characters everywhere 🧸
🌈 We ran straight to the Harry Potter zone!
Hogsmeade village feels like stepping right into the movie.
There’s a broomstick shop, a wand shop, and Hogwarts towering in the distance.
It’s so beautiful it made me want to cry 😭 And of course, we tried the Forbidden Journey ride that spins, swings, and is a little spooky but super fun.
🍄 Next was Super Nintendo World.
Wow, it’s a 3D Mario world! Everything is alive with sounds and colors.
We wore Power-Up Bands that actually let you hit coin blocks! Walking through Bowser’s castle felt like a real adventure. So much fun!
💥 And of course, shopping! We stopped to buy cute souvenirs from USJ—hats, Mario items, postcards, snacks, and adorable Minion and Hello Kitty stationery sets 💛 Proudly carrying our bags back to the hotel.
🍡 On a nice day, we took the train to Kuromon Market, a fresh market in the city center full of fresh food, snacks, souvenirs, and fresh seafood grilled right in front of you! There were grilled squid skewers, wagyu beef skewers, and big sushi pieces lined up—I really couldn’t choose 🍣
🍵 We stopped at a green tea shop to enjoy rich matcha ice cream,
and secretly bought some Japanese sweets like mochi and dorayaki to enjoy back at the hotel because they were so cute. I swear, no matter how I took the photos, they were all Instagram-worthy.
⛩️ Another place that impressed me a lot was Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine, a traditional shrine that’s peaceful and charming. Along the path were rows of red lanterns and a curved red bridge that looked like stepping into a painting 💞
🌆 Nighttime wasn’t quiet at all because Osaka is a city with warm lights. Walking along the Dotonbori canal at night, you see the restaurant lights reflecting on the water—a super romantic atmosphere. I wanted to take photos every second 📸
🧸 We ended the trip by stopping at the souvenir and snack shops at Kansai Airport before flying home~ They had everything I wanted to buy: melon bread, sakura-flavored Japanese chocolate, custard-filled bread, and all kinds of senbei crackers. I almost burst my suitcase, haha.
🧳 Osaka isn’t just a tourist city; it’s the warmest memory. It’s a city where walking feels comfortable, people smile easily, the food is delicious, and cute photo spots are everywhere. Whether you come with friends, family, or a loved one, you’ll definitely fall in love with this city.
🥰 Thank you, Osaka, for giving me small but huge happiness that made my heart race~ See you again, Osaka!

Osaka Castle is famous landmark in Osaka. It is close to the downtown area. Osaka castle has been rebuilt and serve as museum to view timeline of Toyotomi Hideyoshi life. There is no entrance to the park, which was good.
After arriving and seeing the long line to purchase the entrance ticket, I wiped out my cell and proceeded to do it with Ctrip. Ctrip you rock! I got my tickets immediately and skip the suffering of waiting in line. The Castle is really beautiful on the outside but if you are expecting to see lots of architectural features on the inside, then I do not recommend it as there are none. But if you want the history of the Castle and the view from above, then go ahead. For great pictures go to Nishinomaru Garden, really close by.
Amazing view, lots of historical stuff but due to crowd, may not be able enjoy in its entirety
🌿🍃 Osaka Castle Park is a witness to history, and every brick and tile tells a glorious story. 🍃🌿 😍 This is a paradise for photography enthusiasts. Osaka Castle, also known as "Hideyoshi's Castle", is the core building of Osaka City. It was built in 1583 as a military fortress and a strong defensive building. It is located in Osaka Park, so there are many tourists. The black crows are circling over the castle tower like scouts, and the people flying to and from Osaka can also be captured in the camera at any time.
Red Leaves Hunting 1: Osaka Castle Park: The red leaves in autumn are like a fiery and capricious little beast, chasing its footprints in full swing ~ we started hunting... I didn’t expect that the cherry blossoms in spring would be so intoxicatingly red in autumn. The different varieties are colorful and lovely, each with its own merits ~ I’m so drunk! Of course we have to queue up for the castle tower and visit the moat, but the red and yellow leaves almost slowed down our pace. We were either intoxicated or overwhelmed...
