Monkey Island is the largest monkey-inhabited island in Vietnam. There are quite a lot of monkeys in this place. Monkeys of all sizes are not afraid of people. They will take the initiative to ask for things and take food from your hands. They are very polite. Remember to keep sunglasses and mobile phones in your hands.
Monkey Island is a natural gathering area for monkeys. The number of monkeys here is very abundant, and many of them are very lively and cute. Some animals on Monkey Island are not afraid of humans, and humans passing by here can approach them at will.
Before I went to Monkey Island, I thought that people like me, who were at the wildlife park, might not be particularly interested. But I didn't expect the old people and children to have a lot of fun. Before going there, I saw the strategy that monkeys would come out to grab food. I was very careful, but the wild monkeys still let you guard against it. It's different from the monkeys in the interactive zone in the wildlife park and the wild monkeys sitting in the window of the bus. It's really wild. Walking on the road, three or five groups of small monkeys are naive and lovely, but there are also monkeys to rob openly. My mother grabbed the bread in her hand and was snatched by the monkeys in the back, and the oranges in the hands of tourists were robbed by the monkeys to eat slowly in the trees. There are monkey sketches in the humor theatre. The children laugh up and down. It can be said that "monkeys are interesting". As far as safety is concerned, as long as you don't take food out and shake it, and don't try to snatch it back when monkeys come to snatch it, it should be very safe.
It's worth going! We didn't take part in the one-day island-jumping tour of the local tour group. We rented a motorcycle and wandered aimlessly along the coast to enjoy the sea breeze. Suddenly we passed the long Phu dock and asked about the tickets. 180,000 Duns (58 RMB) could go to Monkey Island and 220,000 Duns to orchid island. We bought tickets and jumped on board the boat for 15 minutes to Monkey Island. The parasol chair on the island was free and the water amusement park was free of animal show. Free, many local families take a lot of food to the island for picnic, there is also a seafood restaurant on the island, we did not go to Orchid Island on a monkey island can play for half a day!
Came here as part of a tour, yes the beach is beautiful but I didn't like seeing the little monkeys running around with the dog on a leash. The monkeys wandering around were ok and didn't cause us any trouble. Well worth a visit but keep your belongings. They will jump on you and take anything you don't put away properly. Don't walk around with ice cream if you have any sense. I came here because a local guide took me there. I was very interested in seeing the monkeys but once I got here I realized that this was not just a holiday excursion. There were too many monkeys and the place was dirty with a lot of trash around. I don't know if this place is helping the monkeys or the locals. It just felt a bit sad.
