Fun to tour. I went with a guide who also took us to other parts of India and in many cases he recommended waiting to buy some things that could be bought at the source, so to speak. You have to bargain and if you have a guide make sure to ask if you will see something similar elsewhere or if what you see here is unique.
Dilli Haat, to be precise is an open-air food joint along with unique, handmade and crafts stalls. Although you need to pay a minimal entry fee to enter this place, it is worth a visit. Dili Haat Market is located in the city of New Delhi, India. This place is so lively both day and night. There are many vendors doing business on the whole street, some selling daily necessities, some doing food business, and some selling fruits. There is not much difference compared with China. The only difference is that when communicating with them, they are used to shaking their heads to mean yes, and they like to see people's prices. If they see you are a foreigner, they will raise the price. This behavior is obvious to Chinese people at a glance. Because their eyes reveal their guilty conscience.
Purchased a beautiful quality plant dyed rug at this unique shop. Great selection of quality merchandise. The salesperson was a little pushy but the merchandise in this shop is excellent. The rug was shipped to me via DHL in excellent condition and arrived on the agreed date.
Designed to invoke the ambience of a traditional village fair, Dilli Haat is every shopper’s paradise, a foodie’s haven and the cultural magnet of the metro city
