based on 6 reviewsWe started our climb at Beigao Peak, which took about two hours. The climb was quite steep, and the weather was hot, so I was sweating profusely. I believe sincerity pays off, haha. The views from Beigao Peak are also beautiful, with panoramic views from above. There's a bell ringer at the God of Wealth Temple, and it's easy to burn incense—just scan a QR code. There are so many different Gods of Wealth, and there's always one that suits me. 😁 I wish myself good fortune and a lot of bonuses. On the way down, you can combine a visit to Lingyin Temple, Yongfu Temple, and other attractions. After enjoying some vegetarian noodles, it's a full and relaxing day.
The temple was originally named Lingshun Temple. It is located on the top of Beigaofeng Mountain in Hangzhou. It was built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. It is one of the "Five Lings" (Lingjiu, Lingyin, Lingfeng, Lingshun, and Lingshan) built by the Indian monk Huili in Hangzhou. It has a history of more than 1,600 years. In the early years of the Northern Song Dynasty, because the "Five Manifestations of Wealth God" were enshrined in the temple, people began to call it the "Temple of the God of Wealth".
Because the God of Wealth Temple is located on the highest peak in Hangzhou, many emperors and scholars have climbed it. Emperor Huizong of Song, Emperor Kangxi of Qing, and Emperor Qianlong of Qing all wrote inscriptions for it. According to folklore, the God of Wealth Temple is very effective, so many people come here to pray. In addition, on a clear day, the surrounding mountains can be seen at a glance on the Beigaofeng platform east of Lingshun Temple, with a very wide field of vision.

Guide Chen's explanations were professional, detailed, and patient. He had rich professional knowledge and allowed people to appreciate Hangzhou's culture, history, and style. He also provided transportation guidance along the way. Thank you! I will ask Guide Chen to explain again when I visit Hangzhou next time.
The price is very high, you must climb up to be rich, this thousand steps are really not covered, cool to death, I hope I will make a fortune tomorrow, netizens give some encouragement, 16 years old to achieve wealth freedom 😁😁😁
Lingshun Temple, located in the beautiful Hangzhou, was a highlight of my trip. Built on the mountain, the temple is magnificent, and the antique architectural style made me feel the strong Buddhist cultural atmosphere. Entering the temple, the incense was lingering, which was awe-inspiring. I prayed devoutly in front of the Buddha statue, and my heart was purified and peaceful. In addition, the landscape gardens in the temple are also beautiful. Walking through them, it feels like being in a paradise. This trip to Lingshun Temple not only allowed me to appreciate the charm of religious culture, but also allowed me to find a touch of tranquility and peace in my busy life.
【Fun】 Take the Beigaofeng Cableway 🚡 up the mountain and you will reach Lingshun Temple, which is also known as the world's first temple of the God of Wealth. The incense is very popular, and many people come up the mountain to burn incense. Of course, you can climb up and down the mountain without taking the cableway. There are temples on the mountain, as well as fortune-telling and bell-ringing. 【Scenery】 You can overlook the entire scenic area from the mountain, and the scenery is very beautiful.
As the "No. 1 Temple of the God of Wealth in the World", Lingshun Temple has never lacked incense and offerings. As far as I know, there are only three ways to go up the mountain to worship the God of Wealth. One is to go up from Taoguang Temple in the Lingyin Temple Scenic Area. You can reach the top of Beigaofeng by walking about a thousand stone steps. The whole journey takes about half an hour, but you need to pay 40 yuan for the Lingyin Scenic Area ticket fee; the second way is to walk up the mountain from the Beigaofeng entrance outside the Lingyin Temple Scenic Area. It is estimated to be about an hour's walk. It is a little tiring to say that it is not tiring, but the advantage is that it is free throughout the journey; the third way is to take the cable car up the mountain at the foot of Beigaofeng at Baile Bridge. It costs 30 to go up the mountain, 20 to go down the mountain, and 40 for a round-trip ticket. It costs more but it saves time and effort. As for Lingshun Temple on the top of the mountain, if you want to enter the temple, the ticket is 8 yuan, and it is free to visit with the Hangzhou City Temple Annual Card. The interior of Lingshun Temple is really small, and it enshrines the Five Gods of Wealth. It can be basically visited in half an hour.
Although there are many temples in Hangzhou, the No. 1 Temple of the God of Wealth in the World is also a must-visit. You can take the round-trip cable car up the mountain, or you can go out to the Taoguang Temple in the Lingyin Scenic Area and climb the steps. Although it is a bit tiring, it is still very rewarding. During the epidemic, you can register by scanning the QR code on WeChat, buy a ticket and enter the temple to visit. It is not a very large temple. The majestic statue of Guan Erge at the door may mean: A gentleman loves money and gets it in a proper way (my personal guess). The Wen Caishen and Wu Caishen enshrined on the left and right sides have their own allusions.
The Spring Festival of Jihai Pig Year, from the fifth day of the first lunar year to the "First Money Temple in the World" Lingshun Temple is a reserved project for the Spring Festival of Hangzhou indigenous people. My favorite way of arrival is, of course, mountaineering. From the old Dongyue Fahua Temple began to climb mountains, climb up the stairs, full of green trees and plants, nourishing the eyes, heart and lung. Lingshun Temple is in sight when it reaches the top of the North peak. Believers from all sides flocked to the temple. Red lanterns stood high in front of the temple. Lingshun Temple was first built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. In the early Northern Song Dynasty, the temple worshipped the Five God of Wealth. On the front side of the Temple of Wealth, there was a bell of peace ringing to pray for blessings, and the procession took a long picture. At the beginning of the New Year, people are willing to ring bells to bless themselves and their families.
