Mountain City Adventurer: Unlock Rainforest Hiking, Waterfall Biking, and Pine Forest Picnics in Da Lat
If you think Da Lat is only about fresh and quaint vibes, think again! This mountain city is surrounded by dense forests, lakes, and waterfalls, making it the perfect base for light outdoor adventures. The dry and less rainy winter season offers better road conditions. Bring your kids and let them unleash their energy in nature.
🚵 Selected Outdoor Family Activities
Langbiang Mountain Hiking: The highest peak in Da Lat. You can choose a relatively easy hiking route to the summit or take a jeep up the mountain. The summit offers a wide view overlooking the entire Da Lat Plateau.
Elephant Falls Hiking: Wilder and more spectacular than Datanla Falls. You need to descend slippery steps to the base of the waterfall, which is a bit challenging, but the experience of facing the rushing water is truly breathtaking (be sure to stay safe).
Picnic by the Pine Forest Lake: Find a quiet spot at Tuyen Lam Lake or the Pine Forest, spread out a picnic mat, and enjoy family time. Local hotels can assist in preparing picnic baskets.
Local Market Exploration: The Da Lat Market in the early morning is full of life. Take your kids to learn about various tropical vegetables, fruits, and flowers—it's a vivid natural and social lesson.

I’m second time here. This time in new attractions alpine coaster 3 interesting spots
Datanla Waterfall is a fun and refreshing escape in Da Lat. The views are beautiful, the water is powerful, and the area feels clean and well-kept. The alpine coaster adds an exciting twist, making it perfect for adventure lovers. A great spot for photos, nature, and a bit of adrenaline! #DatanlaWaterfall #DaLat #DalatVibes #ExploreVietnam #VietnamTravel #DalatJourney #WaterfallMagic #NatureLovers #AdventureTime #TravelVietnam #DalatAdventures #HiddenGemsVietnam #AlpineCoaster
The main attraction here is to experience the scooter! Haha, there are two photo spots on the way up and two on the way back. If you take good photos, you can pay to have them washed and take them away. The slide is very long and fun, and you can control the speed yourself! The waterfall is mainly for taking photos!
From bottom to bottom, layer upon layer, the sound of flowing water trickles into the ears, gently and freely, delicate and gentle, intoxicating ~~~
Beautiful waterfalls in the city of Dalat. Worth tovisit and to get photos and videos! Going down iseasy but going up will be a little difficult unless youdecide to go up using the roller coaster, whichcosts 110,000 VND.
Personal review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The waterfall is not that great, it’s all about the cableway 😂 The price of 50 yuan is definitely worth it, promise me, you must go and experience it! It is said that you can also experience the fun canyoneering here, which is to descend along the waterfall on the cliff, and you can also experience 7-meter high cliff diving, which is cool and exciting. Sorry, I won’t participate in this kind of activity 😌.
The waterfall is not spectacular but the roller coaster to the waterfall is the highlight. A single rail car that costs less but is definitely exciting, more fun than the amusement park because you can control it yourself. The lines are long but it feels great to be in there with everyone. I also expect the long lines from Asia. Their go karts are amazing!!! The waterfall is so peaceful. The nature is beautiful here. I will definitely plan a longer time there and try the "Ape" style adventure park in the canopy. I know I will come next time. Ropeways and zip lines are provided with spectacular views.
