The distance from the city centre to Torino train station is around 1.1 miles (1.8 km) so it’s only a short walk and a great way to see the city. To get from Turin city centre to the train station, you can take tram line 13 from Piazza XVIII Dicembre toward Piazza Gran Madre. Another option is to hire a taxi which are plentiful around the city and outside the train station. Torino train station is an enormous and modern work of architecture with an impressive arched ceiling. The main terminal spans the entire length of the platform and the station has multiple levels. It is easy to navigate through the station as there are many staircases, elevators and escalators
