Half a year has passed in the blink of an eye. My last solo trip back to China after returning to Canada was to Wuhan. Because the Yellow Crane Tower is mentioned in poetry and literature, and because the Yellow Crane Tower is in Wuhan. August in Wuhan is very hot. The Yellow Crane Tower light show at night was also very lively, with crowds of people, mostly families with children on summer vacation. The heat and the crowds were a real test for the children. Luckily, I was alone, so I moved freely and flexibly, enjoying a dazzling light show amidst the heat and crowds.

A gentle evening breeze, carrying the unique moisture of the Yangtze River, brushed against the gunwale as the cruise ship slowly departed the dock, gradually unfolding the night of Wuhan. On the river, shimmering waves meandered along the wake of the ship, like scattered diamonds, reflecting the lights that lit up one after another on both banks—the eaves of the Yellow Crane Tower were adorned with a warm yellow halo, like a jade palace floating in the night; the neon lights along the riverbank stretched along the shoreline, intertwining with the lights of the rows of buildings on the opposite bank, weaving a flowing galaxy of light and shadow.

East Lake is Wuhan's garden, offering different scenery in each season. In spring, hundreds of flowers bloom, creating a pleasant landscape; in summer, gentle breezes carry the scent of lotus blossoms, providing a cool and comfortable respite; in autumn, the reflection of the moon in the water evokes a poetic scene; and in winter, the wind, frost, rain, and snow add a unique charm. East Lake is a favorite recreational spot for Wuhan residents, where both adults and children can find relaxation and enjoyment.

Rich and Diverse Cuisine: Known as the "No. 1 Lane for Han-style Snacks," it features classic Wuhan delicacies like Cailinji Hot Dry Noodles, Sijimei Soup Dumplings, and Laoqianji Bean Silk, as well as national specialties like Nanjing Duck Blood Vermicelli Soup and Changsha Stinky Tofu, catering to diverse tastes. A Long History and Culture: Founded in the Ming Dynasty, it boasts a history of at least 400 years. Named for its proximity to the Fantai Yamen, a branch of the Ministry of Revenue, it has historically been a bustling hub and a symbol of Wuhan's urban memory. Unique Architectural Style: Renovated in 2003, the buildings now reflect the Ming and Qing dynasty styles, featuring grey tiles, white walls, and wooden doors and windows, imbued with a rich, rustic charm. Strolling through the streets allows visitors to immerse themselves in the charm of old Wuhan. Experience Urban Life: The bustling atmosphere of the city, bustling with people and the aroma of local snacks, allows visitors to experience the local lifestyle and everyday life of Wuhan firsthand. Crowd Size Hubu Lane sees significant traffic, averaging approximately 80,000 visitors per day on weekdays and surging to 130,000 on weekends. During peak tourist season, the crowds are even higher, creating a bustling atmosphere. The best time to visit is during the early morning or evening hours on weekdays in spring and autumn, when the weather is comfortable and the crowds are moderate. This allows for a deep experience of the "Guo Zao" (early morning snack) culture and nightscape while avoiding the crowds. If visiting during holidays or peak season, it's recommended to plan your itinerary in advance, prioritizing the local snacks and balancing visits with nearby attractions.

The Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge is the first bridge across the Yangtze River in my country and the first road-rail bridge built in the People's Republic of China. It uses the "pipe-pile drilling method" to solve the problem of deep-water foundations. The main span is 128 meters, with a road bridge on the upper level and a double-track railway bridge on the lower level. The night view is particularly beautiful.

When traveling to Wuhan, I came to the famous Lihuangpi Road. Lihuangpi Road is located in Jiang'an District. It is a street with historical and cultural heritage. It is one of the most well-preserved European-style architectural blocks in Wuhan. It is known as "one of the most beautiful historical and cultural blocks in China" and "the most literary old street in Wuhan". These streets are about 600 meters long, but there are many similar ones around, and the whole area can also be called a historical block.

Chuhe Han Street is a popular modern commercial pedestrian street in the center of Wuhan. It is based on the style of the Republic of China, integrating fashion shopping, food and entertainment. The 1.5 kilometer block built along the Chu River, the night lights are shining, and the cruise ship shuttle is quite charming. The brand stores are rich, and the special dining is worth a try. It is suitable for shopping and punching in, and the flow of people is dense on holidays.

The grassland is very large. It is not convenient to go there when the weather is bad or rainy. You must go there on a sunny day! I took my dog there to play. It is very suitable if the weather is good. However, the supporting facilities inside are not up to par. There is nothing to do except the grassland. It is not worth the ticket price.
