ICELAND Going to Iceland is like going to the moon Blue Ice Cave Guide 1️⃣2️⃣4️⃣3️⃣5️⃣ 1️⃣You must drive when you come to Iceland, because each natural landscape is not too close, and it takes 1.5 hours to 2 hours to drive. We have always stayed at the Blue Lagoon. This should be the most unlike hotel on earth. It is very beautiful and shocking. 2️⃣Just drive along Highway 1 from the hotel. The scenery along the way is beautiful and you can take pictures at will. After 5 hours, you will arrive at the Glacier Lagoon parking lot.️ 3️⃣Across the Glacier Lagoon is the Diamond Beach. You can go to the Diamond Beach first and then come back to see the Glacier Lagoon. If you have an appointment in advance, you can gather at the parking lot and wait to go to the Blue Ice Cave. If there is no ticket point on site, you can also buy it on site, but it is best to make an appointment in advance at night. I made an appointment on Ctrip. 4️⃣Because of the special landforms, the driver will drive a professional inflatable monster truck to pick you up and enter the Blue Ice Cave. It takes about 40 minutes. You can only drive as far as the closest distance to the glacier, get off the car, put on the equipment and walk forward. 5️⃣ Hiking equipment is usually available in the driver's car for free rental. After about a 20-minute walk, you can see the world's most beautiful Vatnajökull glacier with a history of 800-1000 years and the mysterious blue ice cave wonders. You will definitely scream and you must experience this moment. This is the filming location of Interstellar. ⚠️ (In fact, if you don't stay at the Blue Lagoon Hotel, it only takes about 1-2 hours to drive in Vik Town or choose Foss Hotel near the glacial lake. But the Blue Lagoon Hotel is really not worth leaving)

Lakes formed within volcanic craters are called crater lakes. These lakes form through a unique process: after a volcanic eruption, the magma within the crater cools and solidifies, forming a natural dam and accumulating water. These lakes are typically a deep blue, crystal-clear water, and are surrounded by a magnificent landscape formed by volcanic rock.

The Forest Falls is one of the many waterfalls in Iceland. The scenery is very beautiful. When we arrived, the weather was super good. The water vapor from the waterfall drew a particularly beautiful rainbow under the sunlight, which was very impressive.
