The National Museum of Indonesia (NNI) formerly served as the Batavia Art and Science Society, established by the Dutch government. Therefore, the current building retains its Dutch European style. It was closed for over a year and recently reopened. It is divided into two areas: the old area has six themed exhibition halls, and the new area has four. The most eye-catching feature at the entrance is the sculpture of the God of Destruction. Its Indian-style design creates a sinister aura, and it is one of the few depictions of Shiva with a sinister image in the world. Then there is a bronze statue presented by King Rama V in 1871. Of course, the museum's crowning jewel is the Bodhisattva statue on the second floor, which is exquisitely crafted. It was previously enclosed in a glass case, but now it is completely uncovered. There are also art galleries and various cultural centers scattered throughout the museum. However, for a multi-ethnic country like Indonesia, a national museum like this doesn't quite match the rich cultural heritage of the country, whether in terms of history or humanities. Tickets are affordable, and you can explore it in half a day.

嫣红曦曦There is a historic cathedral in Central Jakarta. It is a European building and looks very majestic from the outside. It is still in operation and has holy meetings. Many believers come here to worship Jesus.

探索大自然What a magnificent national monument. The top is made of 35kg of gold, shining brightly under the sun. There is an entrance at the base, and there is a museum underground. There is also an elevator that goes straight to the top of the monument to see the scenery. Good.

小思文Ancol Dreamland seems to be a unique park environment newly built in recent years to develop tourism. The entire park can accommodate thousands of people. The internal visit here is also quite interesting. The park can experience and enjoy many fun projects.

JM travelsBuying online is cheaper than on site. Came during peak period, on site price was RP440k for International, and RP400k for Local. Go early. We reached at 12pm and did not have time to finish the place. Wait time is between 0mins for kids rides to 30mins. Food within the themepark is reasonably priced with drinks as low as Rp10k, and snacks from Rp15k. Overall a great experience for us and the kids. Kids need a minimum height of 100m for the rides.

探索大自然Chinatown, this is the Chinatown area in West Jakarta, witnessing the huge Chinese population. Every country in the world has its own Chinatown, thanks to the talents of the Chinese. When you walk into the Chinese settlement, you will feel very close, like a family member you haven't seen for a long time. There are many shops that specialize in business with tourists, who like to bargain, which is very interesting.
