Pao CaballeroI think it’s completely worth it, all the art and history that goes through the walls of the cathedral, also the steps you put in while going up the hundred stairs, gorgeous views and experience. Please note that they are currently under renovation so a few parts aren’t available to the public

Grace园园jiaThe Uffizi Gallery is a renowned art museum in Florence and even Italy, boasting a large collection of beautiful and thought-provoking paintings. From the windows at the end of the long gallery, you can capture a stunning view of the distant dome of the Florence Cathedral (Santa Maria del Fiore). One window also offers a view of the Ponte Vecchio. A visit to this museum is a great way to learn about the history of the Italian Renaissance.

Anonymous userProfessor Gao's explanations were insightful, and he even brought teaching aids that allowed you to see beyond the current state of the ancient Roman ruins and highlight their original appearance. Without his guidance, you wouldn't have known the meaningful connections between historical events. It was a very meaningful trip; under Professor Gao's guidance, I felt as if I had touched the pulse of history. I'll need to digest this information properly when I get back!

Lilly0718The Florence Cathedral (Santa Maria del Fiore), meaning "Our Lady of the Flowers," symbolizes Florence, a city named after flowers. Construction began in 1296, and it is a crucial architectural achievement in the transition from the late Middle Ages to the Renaissance. Its most revolutionary achievement is the colossal dome designed by Filippo Brunelleschi and completed between 1420 and 1436—the largest brick dome in the world at the time, built without external scaffolding. This exemplifies a rediscovery and transcendence of classical engineering wisdom and is considered a milestone in Renaissance architecture. The interior of the dome features a magnificent fresco, "The Last Judgment," which, through strong spatial depth and dramatic composition, integrates theological order with visual impact. The Florence Cathedral, along with the Baptistery and Giotto's Campanile, forms the artistic and religious core of Florence's historic center and is collectively listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

TingtatingYou only had 15 mins in the museum and you have to arrive 15 mins before to verify your tickets with passport. If you are really interested then I think it’s worth the trip.

Blessed by Godsuch a lovely place, the duomo or cathedral is very big that I cannot take a picture of the whole cathedral. Even if I have seen it several times I always love to visit and see it again and again.

Anonymous userGet there early. There’s a lovely place across the street where you can grab a coffee or gelato and a washroom visit. I had no idea that I would be so moved by seeing Leonardo’s painting of The Last Supper. It moved me to tears. I am so grateful that the efforts were put into preserving and protecting this treasure. Nice book store as you exit. Grateful for UNESCO World Heritage Sites as well.

Show闲队长Milan Cathedral Square is the heart of the city. The Gothic cathedral is spectacular and the details are as exquisite as works of art! The surrounding area is very lively and suitable for taking photos and checking in, but it is a bit crowded with many tourists. The pigeons are not afraid of people, which adds a bit of fun. It is very convenient to go directly to the subway, but be careful of hawkers. The overall atmosphere is great, free and open, a must-see when you come to Milan!

130***58Booking tickets on Ctrip for two people was over a hundred yuan more than the official website, but the official website sold out the time slot we needed, while Ctrip was still able to book, which was quite good. Booking in advance and arriving on time to skip the line and scan the QR code to enter was very convenient. The original David was much larger than I expected and much more refined than the replica next to the Palazzo Vecchio. It's well worth a visit.
