The vibrantly colored paper-cuts and delicate, vivid leather carvings all left me marveling at the masterful craftsmanship of the folk artists. The air was filled with the aroma of delicious food. A bite of grilled lamb skewers, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with just the right amount of spice, instantly ignited my taste buds. Standing in the center of the old street, I watched the bustling crowds—tourists like me, their faces filled with curiosity, and locals, leisurely and content. Here, tradition and modernity intertwine in perfect harmony. Saishang Old Street is more than just a street; it's a living history book, documenting the city's past and transformation. I was intoxicated by this ancient charm and modern style and was reluctant to leave. This unique experience will always remain deep in my memory and become a precious treasure.

A free attraction in downtown Hohhot, the mosque is an ancient Chinese building. Photos show that many of the surrounding buildings originally had Arabic-style domes, but now they've all been renovated with Mongolian-style spires, which is a welcome development. Next to the Grand Mosque is a wide food court with a wide selection of local specialties.

Qingcheng Park, known for its lush greenery and abundant vegetation, is free and open to the public and is known as the city's "natural green lung."
