gpc_mybabyThe Wuxia Gorge Scenic Area features a sharp 90-degree bend in the Lianzi Creek at Damian Mountain, known as the "First Bend of the Yangtze River," embracing Leigong Mountain on the north bank. Standing atop Damian Mountain, one can enjoy a panoramic view of the gorge and its surrounding landscape—majestic, enchanting, and magnificent—a truly breathtaking panorama. Badong County, with the Wuxia Gorge at its heart, is steeped in gorge culture, boatmen's culture, Ba people's culture, and Kou Zhun's culture.

D40***63At the "One Incense Stick" viewing platform, the tour guide's laser pointer swept across the 150-meter-high stone pillar: "Doesn't it look like the totem of the Ba people's ancestors?" I gazed at the weathered patterns on the pillar—the 6-meter base gradually narrowed into a 4-meter waist, like the earth's fingers reaching towards the sky. According to the Book of the Later Han Dynasty, the soul of Linjun, the ancestor of the Ba people, transformed into a white tiger after his death, but the silence of the stone pillar reminded me more of Zhuangzi's "usefulness of uselessness": this uncarved rock, precisely because it refused to become a beam, pillar, or altar, was able to stand as an eternal monument amidst the wind and frost.

xia***ngPingshan Canyon The canyon is so deep it seems to have no ground, steep cliffs reach for the sky. A plank road soars into the clouds, mist hangs over the canyon entrance. A winding stream with rushing waterfalls, a clear lake with blue waters. Willow-leaf boats float on the ferry, passenger boats travel on the green stream. Where the canyon narrows, it truly deserves the name "One Man's Pass." November 6, 2025

M57***70Lianhuazhai Square is the core tourist area of the Suobuya Stone Forest Scenic Area. Most tour groups only visit the two sub-attractions within Lianhuazhai before stopping. Unlike independent travelers, who have more time to explore Qinglongzhai at the innermost part of the scenic area and Jiulongtan (near the visitor center) together, Lianhuazhai offers a different experience. The most photogenic spot in Lianhuazhai is undoubtedly Rhinoceros Gully, which is truly picturesque. Taking photos during the off-season when there are fewer crowds will undoubtedly result in even better photos.

兔子他爹The Nine-Hall Complex is the highlight of the scenic area. The North Gate and the Opera Stage are under renovation and closed. The Opera Stage in the Nine-Hall Complex features ethnic performances by the Tujia people. The parking lot at the South Gate is quite large and convenient.

恩施土司老爷Tenglong Cave is one of the earlier scenic spots, with rich and varied landscapes and well-developed facilities. The most recommended attraction is the large-scale song and dance performance "Yishui Lichuan," which allows you to understand the migration and changes of the Tujia people in 40 minutes and provides you with rich cultural insights.

_BA***85It's definitely worth visiting. Compared to the Grand Canyon, this is the least strenuous walking tour (the scenery in Enshi really does require some walking). Take the shuttle bus from Parking Lot 1 to the scenic area entrance. Inside, there's a glass walkway. After crossing it, you walk up and down the left side of the canyon cliff, mostly downwards. There are many interesting rock formations along the way – quite a few. At the bottom of the canyon, there's green water; the weather suddenly cleared, making the water look beautiful. Then you take a boat into the cave. After exiting, you climb over 300 steps to take an elevator, which leads to the scenic area exit. The exit is different from the entrance! The shuttle bus first goes to the train station, then to Parking Lot 2, and finally to Parking Lot 1. However, I bought all the magic carpet tickets but didn't ride them in the end; I don't know how to complete the route. This whole trip takes 2.5 hours. It's relatively easy compared to other places. If you walk the whole way, it would probably take at least an hour longer.

静观山河的游骑兵I went there during the May Day holiday. There were relatively more people and cars, but the scenic area was well managed and everything was in good order. The floating bridge on the car was quite safe, not as exciting as I imagined. Instead, speeding across the stream made the adults and children in the car scream constantly. The scenery was nice👍

M86***13I didn't choose rafting because the water was very cold and I was afraid of getting my clothes wet. Walking down the waterfall, along the mountain path, was a beautiful experience. There was a cool breeze along the way, and I loved the coolness of the waterfall.

M44***19I went to Pingshan Grand Canyon that day, but I couldn't buy a ticket. It was very popular. When I arrived at Luyuanping, I found that it was really an underestimated market paradise. The people were very simple. It has not been overdeveloped and still retains some of the atmosphere of the original village. I will definitely come again.
