Anonymous userThe scenery at the summit is quite beautiful, but the timing wasn't ideal; more snow would have been better. Also, the boardwalk down to Lingxi Lake is closed in winter, so you can only travel by cable car, which isn't very cost-effective. The best time to visit is probably outside of winter. Although it's been open for about a year, some facilities are still lacking; for example, the women's restrooms at the summit are inadequate. Finally, transportation is inconvenient. Perhaps because it's not well-known, there's no direct bus or public transport (online sources mention shuttle buses, but I didn't see any). I even asked the staff at the Ancient City Tourist Distribution Center, and they said that this route isn't currently operational. Because it's close to the city center, I had to take a taxi to and from the city if I was traveling alone, hence the low cost-effectiveness.

海的皱纹还给风Songzanlin Monastery truly lives up to its reputation as the "Little Potala Palace." Arriving early in the morning, before the mist had fully dissipated, the layers of golden roofs and white walls shimmered under the high-altitude sun—a breathtaking sight I will never forget. Three details that moved me most: • The weight of faith: Inside the main hall, the dim light of butter lamps illuminated the murals, and the air was filled with the scent of incense and the passage of time. Watching the local elders tremblingly adding butter, I suddenly understood that this was not just a tourist attraction, but an integral part of their lives. • A gaze upon the crows: Flocks of crows circled above the monastery roof; locals say they are guardian spirits. Standing high above, gazing at these dark spirits, I felt a primal connection between humanity and nature. The "Stairway to Enlightenment": Climbing 147 steps left me breathless, but with each step back, the view widened—much like a spiritual journey; the more physically exhausted, the clearer the mind. Practical Tips: • Hire a local guide (around 80 yuan). They'll explain the true meaning of turning the prayer wheel clockwise and not stepping on the threshold. • After 4 pm, the crowds thin out, and the light is perfect for photographing the golden roof. • The butter tea at the stalls outside the temple is authentic; a bowl for 5 yuan can dispel the high-altitude chill. Looking back at the panoramic view as I left, I suddenly understood—this place allows everyone to find different answers: perhaps beauty, perhaps faith, perhaps just a moment of tranquility. At an altitude of 3380 meters, it's not just the body that's close to the sky, but also the heart.

藍色主題On my way from Shangri-La to Daocheng Yading, I passed by the Bottomless Lake Scenic Area. The 10 RMB cleaning fee was so worth it! It's a true paradise on earth, with crystal-clear blue waters, tranquil pristine forests, and lush alpine meadows. The staff were friendly, and aside from the unpaved roads being a little difficult to navigate, everything else was fantastic! Highly recommended!

M47***11Highly recommended. This truly pristine park, free of artificial planting or captivity, is extremely beneficial for the conservation of wild Yunnan snub-nosed monkeys. Visitors are limited in their area, but I believe this is exactly what a national protected area should be. Other attempts to expand the tourist area for the sake of development are irresponsible. The Yunnan snub-nosed monkeys are incredibly adorable and lively. I hope they can live here forever. This place is not suitable for the elderly or those with mobility issues. After the sightseeing bus, you have to walk up a steep dirt road for about 10 minutes. And be sure to arrive early, entering the park at 8:30 AM and arriving at the monkey viewing spot around 9:00 AM, as the monkeys are at their most active at this time.

WH1962Guishan Park is located at No. 9 Lunhuo Corridor, Dukezong Ancient City, Shangri-La City. The highest point of the park is the Big Buddha Temple. The park is strategically located in the Big Buddha Temple overlooking the panoramic view of Dukezong Ancient City. Surrounded by pine forests, the temple is fluttering, full of sacred atmosphere, and is a great place to feel Tibetan culture and history. As an important attraction in Shangri-La, Guishan Park integrates natural scenery, humanistic landscape and religious culture, which is of great value for understanding Tibetan Buddhism culture and experiencing Tibetan customs.

龙族ITThis place boasts beautiful natural scenery and is very friendly to mushroom lovers. You can see small mushrooms of all kinds along the way, stopping frequently to explore. The shuttle bus arrived quickly, making the trip very efficient. It would be even more beautiful on a sunny day. Overall, I'm very satisfied.
