Located in Dongyang, Zhejiang Province, the Lu Residence in Dongyang is the ancestral home of the Lu clan of Yaxi, descendants of Jiang Taigong. Originally built during the Jingtai era of the Ming Dynasty, it boasts a history of over 500 years. As one of the largest and best-preserved Ming and Qing Dynasty architectural complexes in Jiangnan, it stretches over 300 meters along two axes: Suyong Hall and Shude Hall, earning it the reputation of "Northern Forbidden City, Southern Lu Residence." The residence integrates Dongyang wood carving, stone carving, brick carving, and painting, with the wood carvings being particularly exquisite, making it a veritable treasure trove of folk art.
