Taoyuanhe Drifting

Taoyuanhe Drifting is hidden in the Taoyuanhe canyon, a classic and long-established canyon rafting experience in Guizhou. The river course spans over ten km with a total drop of nearly 200 m, and the entire journey takes approx. 2–3 hrs. Its uniqueness lies in the "magical" element, earning it the name "magical rafting"—midway through, the raft enters a subterranean river cave adorned with colorful lights, gliding through beams and mist. This cave-passing experience differs markedly from typical open-air rafting. The crystal-clear water offers thrilling yet safe ups and downs, while the route showcases beautiful natural views of lakes, mountains, rivers, caves, springs, waterfalls, and gorges. After the first half, meals are available at the mid-rafting dock. Near the reception center square, an aerial bicycle and a children's banana water park provide fun spaces for kids. A tea corridor on the cliff beside the surfing pool allows visitors to enjoy tea while gazing at the scenery.Three roaring waterfallsListen to the babbling stream, watch the magical rafting adventurers rush down, and overlook the joyful scene of canyon surfers riding the waves. After rafting, surfing, and playing, travelers can take the attraction sightseeing vehicle along the riverside lane back to the parking lot, avoiding exhaustion.Xiuwen · 20.7km from downtown

This is my second time bringing my kids here. As they are happy, I am happy too. During the rafting process, I found that the safety measures here are sufficient. My two kids floated ahead of me and I arrived safely at the destination.

The Taoyuan River rafting is excellent, offering plenty of excitement and being relatively safe, but it must be done on a sunny day because the water is extremely cold. Overall, it's all worth it.

The park is quite large, with a wide variety of attractions. I guess not many people know about it, so there are relatively few visitors. There's no queue for each attraction; the staff will help anyone who wants to try it, whether it's just one or two people, start it. This is a great touch. The staff were friendly and patient with reminders, even with relatively few people. A great place to take the kids out, highly recommended.

Very fun! Highly recommended. The arrangements were good. A safety briefing was given before the activities began, and hot showers followed – the water pressure was great and comfortable! Some details could be improved, such as the lockers. Is it too much trouble to collect and refund the deposit? Also, the 30 yuan for the "Liberation Shoes" (a type of traditional Chinese shoe) is better included in the total cost; charging 30 yuan on-site is inconvenient. The shower facilities were excellent, and the staff were very friendly!

Located at No. 187 Zaoshan Road, Yunyan District, Guiyang City, only 1.5 kilometers from the city center, the park was established in 1957 and is a national 4A-level scenic spot. Admission is free (reservations required), Hongfu Temple incense and flower tickets cost 2 yuan, and cable car/zoo services are charged separately. It integrates mountains, forests, springs, lakes, caves, temples, and monkeys, and is known for its "premium location in the city, beautiful in nature." 🌟Highlights & Must-Visit Spots 1. Wild Macaque Troops: A rare semi-wild urban macaque troop (over a thousand individuals) concentrated around the Jiuqu Path and Hongfu Temple. Great for photos, but please do not feed them and keep an eye on your belongings. 2. Hongfu Temple + Jiuqu Path: Guizhou's first temple (during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty). Climb the 383 stone steps of the Jiuqu Path, accompanied by cliff carvings and ancient pavilions; the temple features ancient Buddha caves and Buddhist scriptures, and is a popular place of worship. 3. Qilin Cave: A karst cave where Zhang Xueliang and Yang Hucheng were once under house arrest; it combines natural scenery with revolutionary history. 4. Qianling Lake + Kanzhu Pavilion: The lake is wide enough for boating; Kanzhu Pavilion on Daluo Ridge offers panoramic views of Guiyang city, with stunning sunsets. Visitors can hike or take a cable car up the mountain. 5. Zoo/Panda House: A long-established city zoo with a South China tiger breeding base, suitable for family-friendly educational activities; high vegetation coverage and abundant negative oxygen ions.

Covering 5,000 mu (approximately 1,000 acres), it's six times the size of Huaxi Park and is ideal for hiking, boating, picnics, and wilderness survival training. The area around Nanzhumen, with its large mountains and dense forests, needs to improve bridge guardrail repairs and establish a leisure station.

The gentle drizzle awakens memories of autumn's coolness in my hometown. I arrived full of anticipation, and left with a heart full of longing. This city, nestled in the folds of the mountains, healed a period of time with its coolness and vibrant life. Goodbye, my land of refreshing potatoes! The green mountains and evening breeze are packed away; may you cherish the 23°C summer in your heart. [Smug][Smug][Smug][Heart][Heart][Heart]
