A landmark in Vieste, Pizzomuno Beach, with its eponymous cliff, is the closest to the old town. The view is fantastic, and right next to the cliff is a free stretch of beach. It's crowded, and the water is quite clear. It's best to come at sunset for atmospheric photos, and sunbathe and swim further afield.
