Valle del Cocora is pure magic. The lush valley is a nature lover's dream, and hiking through the cloud forest feels like stepping into another world. This place is a must-see! Maybe horse back riding!!

“I stood at the edge of the Cocora Valley just as the morning mist began to part, revealing giant Quindío wax palms soaring up to sixty meters into the cloud-streaked Andean sky.”

The Wax-Palm Cloud Forest: Cocora's Stilt-Tree Loop and the Hummingbird Feeder, Quindio

“#tripbestshot Cocora Valley is famous for the Quindío wax palms — Colombia's national tree, and the tallest palm in the world — but the real magic is the loop trail through the cloud forest on the valley's eastern side, where a small café has a hummingbird feeder that turns into a revolving door of wings.”
