Things to do in Roatan

It is the best beach on Roatan and the sunsets are spectacular. Many hotels and restaurants. We stayed at the Bananarama (photo 2)

We booked access to this beach from our cruise ship (Royal Freedom of the Seas). We wanted to book snorkeling, but since our ship does not allow children under 12. We went to the beach and found Tabyana, a waitress. She helped us set up chairs under the shade and some drinks. We asked about renting snorkel gear, but were told it was all paid for by the tour. We went to the beach and swam, where I met a local guide with a kayak. He told us where to rent gear on the beach and told us he would take us out. The younger kids in the group (5 and 9) took the kayaks to check out the reef. The snorkeling was amazing!

It's really suitable to come here to get together with good friends. I come here two or three times a year. It has become a must-have for my gatherings.
