SkyPoint Observation Deck
The SkyPoint Observation Deck is located at the top of the Q1 building in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast, situated on the 77th and 78th floors, approx. 230 m above the ground. It is one of the few coastal high-altitude observation decks in Australia. The Q1 building beneath was completed in 2005, standing over 300 m tall including its spire. Suitable for the whole family, if you arrive early when it opens, the queues for the three thrilling roller coasters are shorter. There are shows, and drop towers and roller coasters suitable for younger children. The ice cream in the park is delicious.

The rides and attractions are good. However, most of the rides got only one staff operating the process. Even though not many people were queuing (maybe around 30), we had to wait for at least 30 mins or more. Therefore we didn’t have enough time to play.

5 stars for the degree of enjoyment and 5 stars for the degree of excitement. Try to avoid weekends and holidays, as the queues under the sun are too long. If you go in the morning, it is recommended to grab a good position in the surfing pool after arriving. There is a row of lounge chairs on the shore.

We had an unforgettable experience on the Sea World Cruise Whale Watching tour! The crew was knowledgeable and friendly, providing fascinating insights about the whales and their behavior. The boat was comfortable and offered excellent viewing spots. We were fortunate to see several whales up close, making the trip truly magical.
